Great playing @Sean124   Similar age and athletic ability boat as you .  This gives a fellow working Player encouragement.  Thanks Monte for posting it.  Although Sean should have posted it himself.  ( my opinion). We all deserve credit and in fact NEED it at times.   whether we think so or not.

I went low again. If it was ever possible to be disappointed with a 64… 7 under through 11 and I started thinking about the course record lol

I was playing the Palmer Course at PGA West back before Duval shot 59.

 

I stuffed a ball on 16 to about 4/5 feet.  One of my high string money game buddies starts hyperventilating and says…..”Monte, if you make this, birdie 17 and eagle 18, you’ll shoot 59.”

 

After I threw up and soiled my underwear, I missed the 5 footer and bogeyed 17 by hitting a wedge in the water.  I did birdie 18 for 63, but those delusions of grandeur thoughts are a killer.
