Lamkin/Super Stroke Crossline 2.0 Grips

I stopped by my local PGA Super Store yesterday to grab some Tour Velvets and spied some new Crosslines in a bin listed $5.99. I noticed right away they were noticeably tackier than the Tour Velvets. I gripped up my set last night and I really like the taper. Slightly larger in the low hand area.

I’ve got 2nd round of club championship today in humid Tennessee heat. I will see how they hold up.

Anyone game these yet?

Ye, nice grips. That's actually the retail price and the element which is a pretty good grip goes for $9.99. Prices are really good for the most part on the revl grips. There are a few threads around here and in the tech thread.

Holding out until they get the crossline cord 2.0 figured out production wise. Have 24 utx mids and 20 genesis 360 cord mids until then.

I saw them at my local Golfers Warehouse. They didn’t have a price on them. At $5.99 I might try a few.

Quick follow up

I put these grips to the test over the weekend in 90 + degree temps with dew points in the low 70s. Everything outside was damp due to saturated air.

The grips did well but they are not impervious to the most humid conditions. I was still getting some slippage regardless of rotating gloves and a wiping with a micro fiber.

The feel and tackiness is good, but not perfect in the most demanding humid conditions.

The crossline 2.0 having more (squishy) rubber in comparison to the OG Crossline rubber will make them a little less stable when humidity is high. I’m sure the cord will be firmer but still not a grip I’d consider.

The subtle bit of torque that larger reduced taper rubber core allows mixed with sweat is tough; golf Pride CP2 are similar in that sense.

I’ve been using the 2.0s for a few weeks and I agree. In lower humidity they feel good but I noticed they felt “squishy” and not as stable as it got hot.

Sounds like the consensus so far is these grips don’t preform well in humid conditions, correct? Would you all say these perform better or worse in the humidity versus the GP Tour Velvet?

I tried the Crossline 2.0 on a hybrid, and it lasted 2 range sessions. It's just too squishy feeling for me. I really wish SuperStroke just left the Crossline and Crossline Cord alone, and then came out with their other alternatives. I'm going to have to make the change to the Tour Velvet Cord after years of using the Crossline Cord.
