Anyone heard or seen pictures of the gunmetal p770? Supposed to drop next month and trying to find more info/pictures

No but on taylormades website the other day I did see an option under the p790 that they had this so I imagine it would be coming out shortly.

I’m been wanting to upgrade my irons, and this is the time of year where they announce special edition ones.

They are dropping in august, I am just trying to find some pictures. Likely will be VERY similar to the Qi gunmetal irons color wise

Is the rumors for p770’s only or p790s?

The Qi gunmetals are a PVD finish, which means it probably won't hold up.

my 2 year old phantom black 770 still look pretty damn good. The PVC isn’t too bad if you take care of your equipment

300-500 balls a week off mats - nothing crazy. Did not even think about this wearing off the pvc since I usually have grass range open to use

Yes. Pictures and in person. 790 and 770. Rumored CB as well but haven’t seen photo or in hand of the CB yet.

When they say gunmetal, do they mean "black" like a rifle, or sometimes they call a grey gunmetal (not sure why though)? Maybe it's just the Qi gunmetal PVD so basically a shiny black like the FWs?

Definitely more black than grey but not like a dark midnight black. Easier to see the contrast as the face with scoring lines is grey.

It’s not phantom black for sure. Face with scoring lines is grey. Best way I can describe it is like a muted black/dark dark grey. They look really really good. I’ll be swapping my standard 770’s for the battleworn. The stock shaft looks killer as well with these heads.

wait..is battleworn the dark grey or another color like the previous copper ones?
