I tried a set of the Steelfibers and they felt more stiff than the C-Tapers to me, they play at least half a flex stiff in my opinion.

 

Next set of irons I get will most likely be graphite, no idea what ones because that'll be ages from now and who knows what'll come out, lol.

Ricky did well at the Open. Good to see. SteelFiber 125 will be pretty darn stout. The tech was far ahead of its time 20 years ago. I'm not sure there's a better graphite iron shaft out today. Comparable, yes, but not better. My only wish is a low spin variant.

No. The new owners of Joe Powell gave them out to players the last two weeks in Scotland an N Ireland. Rory got a custom Grand Slam one

I switched from a NP2 to the Jailbird Cruiser about the same time he did. Felt more stable for putts over 15ft but that big potato masher head really threw me off for short putts. With years worth of mallet data via Arccos I didn't see an improvement and felt uncomfortable enough that I switched back to a NP2/Anser style.

Make me think this could be a "dot" or "triple diamond max" style of head.  I get no idea why these types of heads are not produced more by the big companies.  Give us the forgiving head with a bit less spin.  It says something when Rory and Scottie have consistently used the "dot" head with great success, that its better than the tour heads.

 

I have a TD Max AI Smoke and I think its potentially the best driver I've ever hit.  Bombs with the weight in the front, fairways with the weight in the back.

Indeed those Steelfibers definitely play stiff to the flex.

same, i see many tour players with not titleist sponsor uses vokey wedge, but some rare one's like him uses RTZ makes it more interesting
