Just flipping channels and came across Eye on Golf with Andy Johnson and Brendan Porath. Only 1 minute into watching and can’t believe these clowns are on TV. They both said The Best Season Without a Win would be Harris English with 2 runner-ups. Hello he won The Farmers in San Diego. Then Biggest Suprise Justin Leonard making Open cut hitting 235. Again he is much longer than that and I couldn’t watch another second of the Two Stooges of Golf.

Looks like they are on CBSSN? Shouldn't be too much of a worry for most folks even finding them. I think I've seen a couple of basketball games and maybe some Masters on the range coverage there over the years - not even on my YouTube TV custom display guide.

Justin Leonard is 270 off tee this year on Champions Tour. They also had worst shot Wyndham Clark Oakmont Locker Room outburst was not a golf shot. Worst 2 shots to me Rory wedges 13 #2 and 18 (72nd) hole #1 at The Masters. Best shot his wedge 18 1st playoff hole. Wonder if these 2 guys even take themselves seriously?

I find Andy Johnson a bit insufferable, but yeah, they're not being serious. The stuff they do on the Fried Egg website focused on golf architecture is really good. The podcasts they do on pro golf are intended to be humorous but just not my tempo. So yeah, if you're trying to compare Rory's poor wedge shots at the Masters to Wydham's temper tantrum, and fact checking Justin Leonard's driving distance, you really missed the tone.

when talking on tv you cant include emojis so i can understand the confusion ;}

I enjoy Porath and Andy Johnson. It’s clear they don’t take themselves too seriously and don’t do research for their pods.

I'm a massive fan of the Fried Egg and all of the podcasts that they do under the FE umbrella. Specifically, the Shotgun Start is the one that Andy and Brennan have been hosting for many years now and as a couple people have noted, it's intended to blend humor and legit opinion/analysis of most everything in the pro golf world. If you're into it like me, you probably love it. But I can also see why it's not everyone's cup of tea. Eye on Golf is basically the TV version of the Shotgun Start podcast.....they even use the Shotgun Start moniker as part of the title/branding.

As a side note, while again I don't fault anyone for not being the biggest fan of these guys, they are incredibly legit. Andy is one of the foremost voices in the golf architecture and design space and does podcasts with a wide range of some of the biggest names in golf media, design, and even PGA Tour players. Brennan has written for Golf Digest, done writing and TV spots for the Golf Channel, and I believe has had stints with a couple other large sports media outlets. I also had the opportunity to hang out and talk a bunch with them when they were in town for the US Open and can vouch for how incredibly cool they are to have a casual conversation with.
