Makes me wonder… The ppl saying that this ‘good for what it is’, ‘what did you expect?’ might very well be the same crowd that eats dinner at least a couple nights a week at Burger King n McDonald’s 🤔

Mrs Tape has McD on her do not visit list. Since they still make the best fries in America I’m known to sneak in for fries, more fires, and spicy chicken. Their burgers still suck. 
 

Just the opposite at 5 Guys. Great burgers, but mushy too large fries. 
 

Elsewhere, I take my restaurant advice from @bscinstnct for NYC and @aenemated for Vegas trips. So far spot on!

They do?! My son was in town a few weeks back and got fries 🍟 there. Handed me one. It was NOWHERE near what it was 10ish years ago. On top of that, more salt on that one fry than I eat in an entire day! 😂

I may have had more legitimate gripes about it if we had to pay a lot more to see this at the movie theaters. But the fact that it came straight to Netflix as a slap-dick, over-the-top comedy with a ton of cameos at no additional cost beyond the monthly sub fee made it a much lower bar to clear to me for some cheap laughs.

Could b onto something here! I had to jump thru a few hoops w/the ex-wife. (Was using her NF account and got that annoying ‘authorize this device’ message. Had to go to her and ask if she would be so kind as to authorize via the email. Was a few failed attempts…) So by the time it was handled and I watched. The juice didn’t feel worth the squeeze 🍋 🫤

I must admit that I don't get the "cameo" thing. Old men (including my father-in-law) and nerds really seem to love it though.

 

At the end of the day, I'm reasonably certain that I'll never watch Happy Gilmore 2 (nor "The Wizard of Oz" or "It's a Wonderful Life") - and my existence will be improved immensely.

I liked the OG Chevy Chase ‘Vacation’. And the ‘Christmas Vacation’ is a Xmas classic IMO.  Watch it every Xmas and LOL every time.

transformers, I consider them a comedy series (mostly because of agent Seymour Simmons)

I think this movie feels more of adam sandler and the tour pros filming for fun than a real sequel

That’s a good one! My initial take away was… There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell I woulda recognized Zac or thought he was making a living playing golf either. I mentioned, and will do it agin here, my guess woulda been front desk guy @ a bowling 🎳 center. Fun video!

My son and I are fans of HiHo Burgers. We’ve only gone to the Marina Del Rey location but they have a few more.
