Wilson irons 2026

Wilson  Staff blades, CB and Dynapower forged went on sale recently. 

I would think that this means new irons on the way.

Does anybody out there have any info?

If they get rid of the “forged” text on the sole, make them satin along with satin wedges, and keep offering the CB 2 iron, then I’ll definitely get a full Wilson bag

If I see the right shaft option I'll pull the trigger.  Some of the best feeling blades I've hit in a long time.  Wilson seems to up their game.  Love the fairway woods.

Yeah, I agree with the satin. They are great feeling irons, but the long irons (Mb and cb) launched a bit low for me, so I would love if they had something better to combo these with.

I’m really liking my dynapwr forged irons, surpassingly not a huge drop off feel wise from my old J15cb’s I’d played since they were released up until about 2 years ago.  Just a bit tougher to tell sometimes where on the face I struck the ball.

Obviously they play a half to nearly full club longer but not a huge drop off in spin window.

Hard to see how Wilson can improve upon them.

Funny. Just read the Mizzy Pro S-1 thread and most wishing they woulda dropped the satin for chrome…

The last version of the Staff Model Blades were out for 5 years so I'd be very surprised if they were releasing new ones already. Especially since the 2024's weren't that different than the 2019's.

 

I'm playing the 2019's, very forgiving for a blade.

Satin Wilson blades would be horrendous.  They need to remain bright glossy chrome.  My 2024 Staff blades are some of the best looking irons out there.  If they were satin I would hate them.  Crazy how some people love chrome and some satin but satin blades are just heresy.  Mizuno ruined their S series and frankly was the reason I sold my S-3's because I just couldn't get past the finish.

Haven’t heard anything concrete but putting a couple comments together I am led to believe there will be an iron introduced that would fit somewhere between the Dynapwr Forged and the CB.  Won’t be until next spring for the release.

I remember asking if they were going to introduce something to compete with with the "player's distance" irons.   It was more of a coy maybeeee.   So maybe that's what we will see!

I like the Dynapower Forged, but it doesn't really gap well with the CBs or MBs.  I'd love to seem them form a more cohesive 3/4 model series for easier combo sets like Srixon has done. 

Hopefully they keep the chrome 😁

That would be awesome if so!  I was one of the lucky members selected for the Wilson Golf Product Testing and Fitting Experience @ Cabot Citrus Farms and posted the following feedback on my DYNAPWR Forged Irons: "Personally, I would've liked a model between the Staff Model CBs and DYNAPWR Forged (Kind of like how the T-150 is between the T-100 and T-200). That being said, I recognize that Wilson Golf needs to make the best decision for their company as a whole and not just cater to my requests." I would love it if @Wilson_Golf got into the players distance category.

I love the brand. I don’t care if they’re chrome, satin or whatever. They’ve done a great job of making woods that finally are the measure of their irons. BUT, with the exception of the event they did months ago with a few readers here they’ve done nothing to market the golf line. I see posts on IG and BOGO’s for balls but it’s like they think this stuff sells better if they keep it a secret. I know golf isn’t Wilson’s  bread and butter. Must be frustrating to develop great stuff and get so little support to actually sell it.

Ha! I was trying to get all sorts of info out of them. 

Somewhere on social media a golfer went to the performance center there in Chicago, said they got a sneak peak at some future equipment that would be really exciting. 

Since the woods are all new -  I'd have to believe maybe refreshed irons.  I'd love to see a few more grind options on the wedges as well. The Vokey K* keeps calling me, lol.

Agree on the grinds…or they could do it the PING way with grind options available instead of off the rack like Vokey.

I really enjoyed the Staff CBs 2022. Didn't get the same love for the 2024 version.

Seriously. If u like the look & feel, do it.
Feel like a broken record, but take it from someone that’s played every type of iron over 20+ years, ur scores will vary very slightly GI or players CBs.

I hit the CBs way more consistent and pure than the DP forged. I bought both ironically.

Reading through this thread.  Chrome this, satin that.  That's a really weird way of saying you all want them to offer a raw finish at retail.

No, I did. A post a few days ago mentioned raw wedges and so I thought the finish question was about the wedges.

Chrome is a must for me to stick with the next iteration. You can't "accidentally" line up satin irons to reflect the sun in your opponent's eye right before their shot.
