24 Callaway CB users … help

Im a 1.6 index and coming from 21 Apex pros. I got fit into a Projext x i/o 6.0 and have found this season (in New England) has been the worst ball striking in quite some time. I find the ball flight is low and the mishits are super drastic. Obviously this could be me. I am just finding it super hard to consistently hit these irons in this setup good. Anyone else have any experience? 

 

Out of curiously went to Golfers warehouse today to experiment and sure enough the avg height was 27-30 yards. I then tried a number of diff heads and shafts. The elevate 115, modus 115 and c taper lights all flew 33-35 yards and launched higher. Spin was up around 6600 too. Ball speed was 120 . Testing was done with 7 iron.

 

So idk what to do. Really may trade these in for the Pros but not sure if I wanna go back to the 21 or try the new 24????

I’m playing pro/cb combo now, I really like the 4&5 irons in the pro but I wish I had CBs in the 6&7.  I have DG120s in mine and hit them pretty high, especially if playing a spinny ball like the Prov1x.  
 

im very intrigued by these new ai150s though, they seem to be right in the middle of the 24 pro and 24 cb

Yes I agree the ai150 look interesting. I think my shaft is the root of the problem tbh. I need more launch and higher ball lfight

The PX i/o is not a good shaft in my opinion, that's probably your issue.  Original PX is great, LZ is ok, but I think the i/o is a booger.

Agree. I just bought some Modus 120 pulls here and may reshaft the cb's.

Reshaft them.  I loved my 24 CBs, felt they weren’t the most forgiving, but was able to easily work them up down, draw fade.

 

Havent tried the io, but there is nothing wrong with those heads.
