I know that Ventus is extremely popular. But I think it has peaked and will start to wane.

It’s become so prevalent, that there is nowhere for it to go but down!

I wish I had gotten one before they went off the market. I wonder what the new shaft is like. But, He is a smart guy and I think was the true brains for fuji. I am sure there are other smart people there or out there that can be hired. But Alex is really smart.

Alex Dee left Fuji and started his own company Aretera. He released a shaft right away that I think was similar to the Ventus (which he designed) then lawyers got involved and he pulled them, made some changes then released a different shaft.

I like the Green that I have in my driver and three wood but would love to see something a touch stronger throughout the profile. I kind of hope this is it because I like the paint scheme!

this is a successor to the NX Green, a bunch have put it into play on the women's tour, i assume the ladies japan golf tour...september 4th release date; 

 

slightly lighter weight compared to NX Greeen; (NX GREEN50S / 57.5g NX GOLD / 53.5)

Looks like it's made to perfectly match Honma sets lol. Fujikura has created the Pro V1 of the woods shaft market in Ventus. Just completely dominant. We'll see if they can keep the relentless small improvements to stay on top.

Definitely. Tried so many shafts over my golf life. Ventus TR Black is by far the best fit. TR Blue and Diamana WB tipped are also great but less stable. The only sell for another shaft at this point is same weight and more stability.

Most likely due to the stiff handle of all the Ventus shafts.  Speeder line varies in stiffness/softness for handles and feel smoother overall compared to Ventus line, IMO.

Keep hoping. They say it's a green profile with slightly softer handle and higher torsional rigidity from tip to middle 🤷‍♂️

Sort of strange where it supposed to fit in the line up. Closer to the Green than the Purple but looks like the Green is still being offered.

 

 

Guessing since the guys at Fuji haven't chimed in yet it might be only a Japan-only offering like the NX Black.

I think the Violet started early as a Japan only offering for about six months before it made its way to the US and was on the website here.  I did find it odd the Black never surfaced here.

Not a thing wrong with Speeders. The Evolution series delivers great performance, better feel than Ventus IMO. Ventus are top-notch, no doubt, but it’s not like they’re superior to Speeder, they’re just a different profile, more “advanced” materials, etc. 
 

Have a Speeder Evolution TR 661 in a TM driver and an Evolution VI 757 in a Qi35 3 wood. They’re outstanding, much better than the stock shafts they replaced. 
 

Still a good market for them for those who like Fuji shafts with a more classic feel. I know a few dealers who carry them and they still sell.

Just can't let go of my Speeder Evo TR 661 either. Always go back to it when my swing goes south. I find the NX Green is very familiar in that regard.
