Hey - high St. Kensington is where I live! But my old school chums were all Welsh, which is where I grew up. So in my case we had about 5x Davies and 3x Evans and 3x Jones in the class. No toff names I can remember.

I grew up in Bridgend, the nearest larger town. Porthcawl was the "posh" seaside town where my parents used to go for functions, dinners and that kind of thing. But it also had a funfair and a caravan park - a bit of everything. The golf course was for the "posh" people - professionals and such. plus the proper golf players. Nobody well known I can think of. But a pretty part of the world.

Isn't Swansea the nearest larger town? The World Feed showed some "B-Roll"  footage of Swansea Bay and mentioned Swansea town/ city

Bridgend is the local medium size town. Swansea is a larger town but much further round the coast after Port Talbot which is also quite big and has a big steel works. Swansea to Porthcawl is 20 miles by road.

Okay. Totally honest, non-trolling take. Been watching for about an hour now. Gotta admit I can see how Morgan’s voice could annoy the sensitive folks. But her takes have seemed pretty spot on to me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Morgan Pressel trying to explain bounce on a wedge is really something. Not once did it occur to her to relate the bounce angle to the turf condition. Her continued employment as a TV presenter is mystifying.

Might feel it would be harder to find the motivation to go back vs using the drive she already has going at the moment.

 

Agree it's got to be a lot given how heavy the assignment load has to be, but I doubt she falls off by taking a little more time to finish up school. Likely family expectations to manage as well.

Lottie Woad is an outrageously good putter. In time will be very interested to see how her stats match up.
