Fake JPX Hot Metal??

After being fitted for these irons and found out that I'm pretty much standard for everything, I went ahead and purchased a set off of eBay brand new for a small amount less than retail

Now now I'm wondering if they are real or not. As when swinging the seven iron, I get an almost whistle like noise from the back of the club/badge area and there are no serial numbers on the hosels

There are tons of fake Honma irons on Ebay. Do not know about JPX's.

I am no means a Mizuno expert and a counterfeit expert but as frequent buyer of golf items from AliExpress I've never seen fake Hot Metal variations sold there, only the top of the line JPX and Mizuno Pro variations.

To look at them I'm not suspicious....but the hollow whistle sounds from the badge area on all clubs(which I didn't hear on my fitting)and the lack of serial make me question

Just got my hands on the clubs an hour ago....I bought them from a golf equipment seller on eBay not an official partner

If you call Mizuno, they will help you identify whether the irons are fake or not.

No serial number at all? That’s more concerning than anything. All sets either custom or stock off the shelf will have a serial number on at least one of the hosels. I’d message the seller and also contact eBay with your concerns.

I recently purchased HM JPX 925s from a Mizuno dealer and it has the same serial on every club so it's odd you don't have a serial. Also, the whistle like sound you're hearing might be normal. I notice it too when I'm swinging my clubs, almost like a jet is flying by when you swing down fast enough. If you look inside the back of the club (the gaps), there's a "sound bar" (i think that's what they call it) which is what I am assuming is making the whistle sound.

There should be a serial number on all your irons on the new mizuno line. I’ve had 2 sets of the HMP and also 3 sets of the 925FB and they all had serial numbers on all irons.
