Any idea when the BC5 is gonna come out?

I'm not really sure when it will be released but I do know they exist :clapping: I will ask tomorrow when I'm at Bettinardi.

Lovely putters. Pity they don't offer anything other than the stock 33" - 35" plus no lie adjustment.

I am also eager to know. I have my eyes on Rossa Monte Carlo but if this one is coming soon I might wait. It looks beautyful.

Sad to report that the original stock grip has started to feel not good.

Mind you the BC-1 of mine has seen daily use, play or practice for over a month.

This is one Winn grip that will be cut off soon, and replaced by a Golf Pride of some sort, or a blacked out Pingman with three wraps of tape.

Other than the grip issue, this putter and that FIT face continues to impress.

Great job on this series again, Robert Honeycomb Bett.

This is one great feeling flatstick.

I always order my Bettinardi DASS WITHOUT their Bettinardi branded Winn puttergrips, as I hate these grips and they will be torn apart within a month anyway.......

I put on my own favorite grips as soon as I receive the putter ;)

My current favorite putter grips are Golf Pride V rad grips - best combination of tacky feel, pretty soft grip - but not Winn velvet soft, while still being very durable.

Used to use Iomic grips, but they are too soft and far from durable enough. Besides that, they only work in warm weather. Try to use the Iomics in wet weather and rain and they are useless - also the grip attracts cold like nothing else. So when you use the grip in colder weather, the grips feels nasty cold.......to the point, where you almost feel like dropping your putter on the ground ;)

Thanks ClubhoUno for the reponse on the grips. You really love the V rad. I like the feel, just had not heard of anyone speak of durability. You think it is some what durable. I change grips every 4-5 months anyway.

Thanks again, and it was interesting to see you found any Bettinardi stock logo Winn to age super fast.

Mine feels slippery now with fish net stockings over the soft slippery grip. WEEE!

Tried the BC1 and BC2 at the local PGA store in 34 and 35 inches. BC1 at 35 is amazing. There were 2 at that length- a brand new one and a used one. The used one sounded so much more solid, I went with it.

I just started gaming a BC3 35" and so far have been putting great. I came from a White Hot (not white hot xg, just white hot) 2 ball and I liked it but seemed to have some pace issues on the faster greens. I have only played 3 rounds with the BC3, two fast greens and a slower green setup. So far no real problems on the slower greens with it. The face is soft to me but not too soft. Soft but it still gives you quality feedback.

The ball seems to come off the face in a very consistant way and seems to get rolling nice and quickly. I putted well with the 2 ball but always had distance issues and faced with a lot of 4-6 footers. So far my distance control has been much better with the BC3. I used the superstroke on teh 2 ball and then went to a GP Jumbo Crown and that did not help the distance control. I tried the superstroke on the BC3 but for as much as I love the grip it didnt quite feel right on this stick. I put the GP Crown Jumbo on it and have no plans of going back.

mainly, i'm wondering if there's gonna be a plumber's neck bc1 or bb1?

If Mizuno launches a plumber neck BC1 that would be perfect, I have been looking for an excuse to get a new putter for the past 6 months. I would love to get an anser style putter, which is what I liked about the BC1, but the neck held me back. I also thought about getting the BC2 but I'm not too fond of a 'rocker' back.

But a few questions about the Black Carbon, I'm not lucky enough to be near anywhere that stocks them so I thought I might ask. How soft are they? I have tried the Taylormade Rossa Daytona Classic, also a nice looking black anser style putter, and the latest Ping Anser; how soft comparibly is the Black Carbon?

The Daytona is very hard whereas the Anser is incredibly soft, I'm looking for something similar to the Anser but don't want to stray away from Mizuno.

Black Carbon series is softer but Ping Anser is the close to the answer of BC1 in plumber neck.

I was testing the BC1 and BC2 34". I felt the weight allocation is different. I ask the sales to check the swing weight. BC1 is D7 while BC2 is D3-4. Their overall weight is 505gm and 496gm respectively. I thought they should be the same configuration?

I like the swingweight of BC1 but in terms of feel, BC2 suits me. Is it possible to add lead weight? If so, any advise?

all you guys with the plumbers neck their are thousands of putters with them the bc1 and the neck on it are perfect its sets up to the ball perfect and not having the shaft point at the ball it great ,, i wish the plumbers neck would go away.
