HiBore XL with Bassara63 Shaft

1st time posting - Bought an L4V so I am selling my Cleveland HiBore XL 9.5* with the upgraded Bassara63 Stiff shaft. This is a great driver almost in mint condition. The HiBore is a long driver with high launch characteristics. When you add the smooth Bassara shaft ($110 upgrade) you get a Tour weapon in the hands of us amateurs. This is a very smooth shaft that still provides you with a very tight dispersion. Whether you have a controlled swing or go after it - either way, the Bassara63 will not let you down. Among the best shafts you can buy for the money. The driver plays to a length of 45.5 inches, has an almost new Tour Wrap grip + a HiBore XL headcover. A great driver with an even better shaft.

Nice Driver. WHat kind of ball flight did you get with that shaft?

Thanks Paul, it really is a good driver.

 

The ball flight was great - high and long. It seems the ball stayed up there a looong time. The HiBore XL already hits it high and the Bassara does nothing to discourage that flight, but it does help reign in the slight inside/out swing that produces a slice. I find that this shaft reduces it to a baby fade...

 

However, NO shaft will compensate for a real bad swing!

I have the same club with the Fuji Red stock stiff shaft. Just wondering how this shaft would compare. Again nice club at a more than fair price....I should jump all over it just unsure of that shaft.

I too did not know much about this shaft until I started reading about it on GolfWRX!
