iGolf Course Additions

Hello

 

I have the chance to get a Neo in trade. The only problem I have is that there is not a lot of courses mapped in my area of Canada (Northen Alberta). What have been the response from iGolf when new courses are requested? If I sent them a list of 20 courses of higher and lower priority is that asking too much? I guess I do have the option of mapping them myself

The membership covers only one free mapping and 100 downloads that are already mapped. Dont know about any other mapping costs.

Is there a way to see what courses are in their database before buying one?

You should be able to go to the iGolf website and use the search function to see what courses they have available. I have the Neo and even though it isn't as fancy as the other GPS units and doesn't offer the fancy functions, it is still a great GPS for the money.

 

It is also very easy to map a course on the unit.

Thanks, I just checked and they do indeed have my course. I'm definitely considering buying this now, seems like the best bang for your buck if you don't have $300+ to drop on a Golf GPS.

This is definitely not the fanciest GPS unit available, but if you need an affordable GPS unit that gives you basic functions with added ease and minimal size then you can't beat the price for this.

 

I love my Neo. I have no regrets about purchasing it. They also have the most courses in my area I have found when compared to other GPS units.

Another bonus with the iGolf is with a little know how(or knowing the right people) it's also quite easy to verify your maps, change maps, or map courses before you leave the house.

Here is a link to a Canadian distributor for the igolf. They have started their own subscription service in Canada with numerous courses in Alberta.
