Hibore XL Tour or Geek DCT?

Coming from a Bang-O-Matic 7.5°...

I was all set a while ago on the DCT 9° and wanted to try the new Harrison Mugen Prototype Shaft (X). Guy on ebay has this combo at $199 shipped. Then I kept reading about the HiBore XL Tour. I have pretty much an entire CG setup now (HiBore 15°, TA-1's, wedges). I am just now getting back into playing golf. I used to be around a +2 to +3 when I quit for a few years. The Bang-O-Matic that I have now is very difficult for me to turn over and doesn't seem very forgiving. It's a 7.5° and I have a Grafalloy Blue Tour X in it. I hit it plenty high, and seems to come off with very little spin. I haven't been on a launch monitor with it so I can't give you any numbers. My SS used to be around 125, now it's probably closer to 115. I load it pretty hard. When I hit it good, granted my swing is not back into full swing, it's a nice high, almost dead straight ball.

I was thinking about either getting the DCT stated above or get a HiBORE XL Tour 9.5°, try the stock red X shaft, and if that doesn't work, try either a 73 whiteboard or a 7Z08 rombax.

Any thoughts? Should I go with an 8.5° in the XL Tour?

I can't hit either one, and both are fairly cheap, but I would want to buy the one I think would best suit my needs first, and then try the other later.

Sorry I don't have any launch monitor numbers. I really am someone that consistently hits it around 290-300 (and I live in Florida... :russian_roulette: ). The last time I was on a launch monitor was when I bought the Bang-O-Matic. The Idiot had me hitting a 46.5" driver in a net. I was swinging around 135 mph, with about 13° launch and fairly high spin if I remember correctly (3500-4000ish?). Living in Jacksonville, I go to TPC every year, now moreso for fun with friends and getting tanked :p, but I would say I hit the ball on a very similar flight to Vijay with my current driver.

What do y'all think?

I would go with the XL Tour 8.5 stiff or Xstiff this is a great driver for high SS. Another driver I was really impressed with was the Callaway's hyper Xtour, take a look at that club as well. The XL (newer version is XLS $299) can be had for $150 thru Golfsmith's website.
