It's the 006/611 replacement. Oval track in the cavity, DH89 neck, tri-sole. I still miss my 006 - it's the only piece of golf equipment I regret parting with. Hopefully the DH89 I have on the way will fill that hole.

That's a shame... Mine was almost reuined. I had a 2008 US Open print signd by the artist that got some nice damage in a mini-flood. Somehow, this one was unharmed.

I have DH11 with satin oil, but that finish is just perfect!

If you don't mind, maybe you could take a couple more pics? Maybe one in the sunlight if that's possible? Definitely one of the best I've seen in a looooong time.

Just ordered mine today and got the "Tai Treatment"... need to send Pure745 some love and give him credit. Per Bruce Rearick I need a FB putter and I WANT a DH89 so in Byron's infinite wisdom (and because my lie angle is flat at 68*) we are doing a long plumbers neck (with crazy twist) and he said he can nail the FB on the 89 with no problem... all while keeping the length of the neck legal.
Also chose the new Dark Rum finish.... more to come... with pics

I am pretty stoked... at one point I said,"I'm throwing everything at you, are't I?" He replied in his usual tone,"Yes." haha... great to work with and even over the phone you can hear his mind work so he can give you what you need... and more importantly, what you want.
The crazy twist is going to be subtle, which is what I like. Said I didn't want a full on twist and the long neck kind of lends itself to a coil looking twist.... he said as he works on it he will send pics because he can add twists he just can't take them away.

This sounds like it's going to be pretty cool looking when everything is done. If you don't me asking how much was the up charge for the extra grinding and rounding of the head? Also is the Dark Rum finish a deep dark brown I'm guessing by the name?

He originally called it Dark Brown, can be seen on putteralk, but then someone came to him and said,"Well since you have a pirate them going on why not Dark Rum?" So it stuck. To me it really looks like a deep brushed oil can but since he cannot oil can on stainless he came up with the Dark Rum.

The "Tai Treatment" was an extra $50, dark rum is $100

That's cool. I'm on PT all the time, don't know why I haven't seen yet? Or I saw it and thought maybe it was a carbon putter. It sounds like my DH11 that has satin oil can. It's a very dark brown like you mentioned.

I will post pics here once I get mine. I was psyched when Byron said he would send me pics as he is twisting it to see if I want more twist because he can't take them out. Also asked him about some Turf's Up tools but he doesn't have any... one thing I am really wanting to get my hands on.... so if anyone has an 'extra' laying around let me know...

this is from PT, no pics yet on BM website.. I think he just came out with this finish in November 2014 time frame.... To me, it is his answer to oil can for stainless steel since it can't be done on stainless.

i wonder how that will hold up to use. the brushed blue oil on stainless doesn't hold up all that well does it?
