Just grabbed this off eBay. I offered on his asking price, and they accepted, so another Byron headed home to my house. The 711 is a tough putter to find!!!!

Byron said he just got them and opened the box for me.

 

Very cool cover i think.

 

He had another color and other GSS cover as well.

 

He had some new style BM headcover as well.

Based on the "Tour Use" verbiage, I'd guess that these are primarily for his overseas market (but what do I know...).

 

I might have to get in touch with him... It's about time for a new grip anyway, so that's always a good excuse to stop by the shop.

I have seen a lot of amazing putters on this site and others, but I still think that is the most beautiful one I've ever seen! I would be murdered if I ever shelled out for a Damascus Byron, but a man can dream. I really need to make a point to get down to HB some time this year when I'm in L.A. to get a custom Byron made.

Posted this in the "What Putter Did You Just Buy" thread but I picked this up last week on eBay. Pretty sure this is the exact same putter I owned in 2011 (sold on here that year) and is now back in my possession. Kind of crazy when you think about it.

This one I acquired off a great guy here. From my notes:

 

2016 BYRON MORGAN DALE HEAD (Customized in Mystic Pearl, custom stamps, softened bumpers, roll top, welded high beam Rincon neck, hidden sound slot in face, 34.5” length, 3/8 offset, 350 gram head, 70 degree lie, 3 degree loft, 5 o’clock toe hang, Iomic mid-size grip)

Thanks Miles, I am a sucker for good looking putters! It does roll the ball really well though and while I am one of the few that does not seem to mind the older lighter putters, 350g is just right for this one.

Love it Miles - I love a good beach slot.

 

Here is an old beauty I am gaming with a fully through sound slot. It is a 365g X-Proto made for the Japanese market. Love the specs. on the sole.
