REVIEW ON PAGE 2 ADDED! Who likes Antiques? Tour Department SB-1's

I love musclebacks and these are sweet, but I'm a little put off by the blue ferrule against the brownish antique finish. I get the relationship to the Gators, but that could get old to look down at IMO.

I think I would have just gone for the black ferrule and then customized my orange grips with my name instead of "Golf Pride" in blue ink. Maybe even bling them up a bit more by having blue grips with orange lettering on the even clubs and orange grips with blue lettering on the odd clubs. That would be sick.

Love the clubs though ... and enjoy!

They don't look very blue from address, not distracting in the least bit really. I was worried about the same thing, but I didn't notice it at all today.

Grips with my name on them would be a waste of money since I use them logo down LOL. I have seen them though, and they are pretty cool.

Huge +1 on this one.

Sorry Will, im not feeling the blue ferrules at all. The antique does not match that bright blue at all.. maybe if you did satin the blue would look cool. Luckily ferrules are very easy to change.. a classic black themed ferrule woul really make your irons look "classic"

And i like that orange and blue decade suggestion so you can have your Gators them going on.

Other than that the irons look amazing.. get rid of the blue ferrules.. and the kool aide will be more potent :)

Round 2 today. Just as happy with them as I was yesterday. They definitely go 3-5 yards longer I would say. The hybrid is money! I don't see the 5 wood having much chance after today LOL. My driver and 3 wood failed me big time, so I teed off with the hybrid for a few holes. It is a rocket launcher off the tee, but off the deck it goes the perfect distance I need for a 2 iron. Put it on the front edge of a par 5 today. I think I finally found a hybrid I really like. My only complaint is the sound, but I can get over it. Lots of fun today despite the second consecutive day of terrible driving. I have a lesson later, so that should fix that.

Names on the grips is actually a great idea, even when turned down (which I think most of us do). Why ... in case you leave one next to the 18th green while you putt and forget to pick it up on your way to the cart. Happened to my wife. She left two irreplaceable clubs (her X12 lady gems SW - can't find anymore, and Cleveland BeCu 60 - hard to come by). Luckily, she did this on a military course. Even so, I expected nothing when we called the next day. To my surprise, someone honest took them to the clubhouse after their round.

With your name on there, they may be even more likely to turn them in if found or at least to prove that they are yours.

Very, very, VERY NICE MAN! :) Great looking sticks indeed!

OK...so I am a bit biased as they look very similar to mine :) You my friend...have stellar taste! ;)

I like the new changes they made as well.

Enjoy them for many years to come!

Thanks RIDE! I must admit that yours may have had a roll in the finish I selected. Thanks for all your help.

I don't know if I can help a Buckeye...

The KBS Tours don't feel stiff really. It is kinda hard to describe. Definitely a better feel than x1's, and tighter dispersion as well. The flight is a little higher, but not much at all. The spin is perfect. Not sure how much is the head, and how much is the shafts, but they hold quite well. I hit a 6 iron out of the rough yesterday, and it held the green. No ballooning at all either. Really a great shaft so far.

Glad to hear that A.J. John and I are playing on Monday, and I am also good to go on Tuesday if you are off either of those 2 days. I'll speak with you about it on Saturday I suppose.

Ham Solo, I think you will really like yours. Let us know. I was surprised that I liked mine, but that is just because I hate hybrids LOL.

And Titleist dude, I feel that my ferrules and grips single handedly lead Florida to beat OU tonight for the National Championship. :D

I love the KBS shafts that I have in my irons. They're great. Do you mind my asking why you didn't opt for the KB Hyrbrid shaft for your Scratch hyrbrid, instead of the Aerotech graphite shaft you now have? Was that based on a recommendation from Ari? Thanks.

I had a TaylorMade TP hybrid that I liked, but I hit it further than a normal 2 iron so it did me no good. Like you, I'm glad that the length on the Scratch 18* is 39.5". I just hope that I like the feel, trajectory and results with the KBS Hybrid shaft. I'm not really concerned about the sound since I play an FT-5 Tour TH driver and it sounds unique(compared to most drivers).

I'll let you know. ;)

BTW, congrats to your Gators!

I really like the length too. It kinda sounds like my FT-5 LOL. I have a KBS Hybrid shaft waiting to be tried, so I will be anxious to hear what you think. I am quite pleased with the Aerotech though.

William,

Great looking sticks amazing. Gotta say I love the square look, and glad to see a set of scratch irons with that square look. Damn, now all I can think about is an AR1 SB1 tour dept squared off combo set. Damn, I better see if I can find some money in the couch, or the checking acct, or the savings acct, or my 401k (oh wait, thats all nearly gone). . . anyway, I think a combo set could be in my future in the next couple years! Congrats though, and keeps us posted on the progress and how you like them once the honeymoon period wears off! Congrats on a fantastic set of clubs

Haha, yeah the square toes do look pretty good. Round 3 today, and still the same feeling. The Scratch hybrid gets better every funny sounding shot I hit LOL. I am definitely keeping it in the bag over the 5 wood.
