There was a thread floating around about this, but lets make it OFFICIAL. Put down your 14 clubs and see how long you can last. Please actually list the clubs in your post. Don't just say see signature. It is easy to edit your signature, and we would not be able to tell. Gotta keep everyone honest. For those of you that live in a year round golfing area, your season will coincide with those in the north. We want to make it fair for everyone after all. All entries must be made by Sunday at the Masters. If you change your bag prior to Masters Sunday then please edit your original post with the changes made. Please, no gaps to be filled later. Lock them in BY Masters Sunday.

NEW RULE: If your wedges are worn out, then you may replace them. The new wedges must be EXACTLY the same. Shafts, lofts, bounce, manufacturer and so on. If you feel your wedges are worn out, pictures must be provided to prove that they are in fact worn out.

We have a 3 member committee that will vote on any issues that I feel are controversial (see I-Mix rule for example). Once the vote is made, that is the rule. Non-HO's are subject to being left out. In other words, if you have had more than one club (putter is understandable) in the bag for more than a year then chances are you aren't a HO. If you feel you are, state your case to me and it will be put up for a vote.

EDIT 2: Feel free to use this thread for support. If you feel weak, then come here and "type it out of your system".

EDIT 3: No changing of shafts, unless you have an I-Mix. If you have an I-Mix, you are allowed 3 shafts, but you must currently own them. No swapping of the 3 shafts will be tolerated.

EDIT 4: Adding the members to this thread. Each member that folds will be crossed out. Please be sure to update in the thread when you fold. Those that didn't post their clubs into the thread will have them added into another post by me. I will add what you have in your signature.

William... this is crazy! Although, it could also be crazy good on my bank account. I also vote that this thread doubles as a support group for Ho'ing. Like, if you need the support to keep your current bag, even though you just demo'd the newest and greatest set of irons, etc... I know I might have to use it for those purposes.

It will probably be like watching the stock market. Giant drop off in short amounts of time. I won't be one of those people though.

It is possible that the three iron will rotate in and out for a Nickent hybrid, depending on where I play and conditions, but that looks to be about set for a while now.

 

I may cave (I have in the past) but I have never started a season with this much confidence that the bag would be intact for a long time.

 

You know, it really is too bad that we couldn't put some money into a pool to see who takes it. It isn't that I love to gamble or anything, but that would give us all added incentive to do what we know we should do, which is stop shipping the clubs in and out so much.

Come on guys, my ho'ing habits are amateur hour compared to many on this site, and even I know that this is an exercise in futility. Setting your bag is all well and good, except for the fact that a better club is always just around the corner. ;)

The only thing I really care about is outlasting macglock and JakeBarnes. I would include Pure745 in that group as well, but he will have changed woods before I finish typing this post. :cheesy:
