Just got peer pressured into one of these things. Do people actually use them?

Every day. You would be surprised the number of tour players on there and the number of tour events who also do updates.

 

Use it as much or as little as you want.

 

I use it commercially to update people and give live news alerts.

 

GolfWRX has a Twitter stream as well. It will alert you to significant new posts and other items of note.

 

For a good base of golf Twitter streams to look at check my followers and those I am following.

Basically you just tell everyone what you are doing at a given moment in the day. Lots of celebs do it. Kinda cool I suppose.

Do I really care what someone is doing at any given point in the day? Isn't this the ultimate expression of ego?

 

I have to agree with CBS News' Nancy Giles who did a little commentary on the Twitter thing and said if postings are Tweets then people who post must be Twits. :lol:
