My Dream putter got knocked from the bag by another D.A.S.S.

I never though I would use one of these

Never putted with a putter of this style before, but I was very good with it today. Distance control and accuracy were great. If I missed, I only had a tap in left. Didn't miss once from inside 10 feet. She feels great too. Can't believe my BB8 is on the way out, but after today I don't see how I can't game this putter. Only problem is that the slip on Orca cover with no velcro doesn't stay on. Looks like I will have to go to velcro again.

BB2 is really sweet! Love that gun-blue.. of course im partial.. i have a BB2 and a DASS gun-blue... yours is the best of both worlds..

 

I have some ideas on the paint.. i like the grip too.

Will, just when I thought your new additions can't get any better, you get yourself another stunning putter. I can't imagine what you'll be like at Studio B.

 

I am sure I will be walking out of there with at least one more putter. Definitely going to get another buckle and some other things. Going to be a costly vacation I'm sure.

I'm happy with the paint. Just bad weather when I took pictures. Maybe some clearer ones tomorrow. The sole has white, orange, and metallic blue on it.

Did you end up getting the flamed Kool-Aid buckle? That was awesome.

I'm surprised you didn't pick up one of the new multi Hex putters on rjbcollector, if they were DASS I would've been very very tempted.

I did the paintfill of course. That was the first thing I did when I got her. The paint on the hosel was a PAIN. I think I will be okay with the challenge... or I hope anyway.

LOL. It isn't difficult at all. I really enjoy the feedback from the putter, and my distance control was fantastic. Made five 20 footers in a row today, but that was flat artificial green. Still a good sign though.

I would guess that you have a gated stroke and the extra toe hang of the 8802 style just works a little better than the BB8/Anser 2 style.

 

I've tried a few DASS BB2 putters, but personally had better distance control with the Soft Carbon models. Though I do miss my DASS BB2-H from time to time.

I do have a gated stroke, but I didn't think it was that gated. I should have known this putter would work well when I putted so well with a SeeMore M2, which also has a ton of toe hang.

 

This one feels like it could be 350g. I haven't pulled the head to weigh it though. It is definitely at least 340g. I'll have to check out a Soft Carbon model at some point.

I would love a nice blade putter but there really aren't any out there that aren't sweet (read: out of my price range).

 

Maybe if a Mizuno/Betti BC7 turns up used I'll snag one.
