Anyone have a Parbuster cage? Help needed

No assembly instructions - EDIT Now pics of semi-final project

Was hoping to put together my Parbuster 10x10 cage today and initially wasn't bothered by the fact that they didn't include any assembly instructions in the package...how hard could it be???

But of course I'm stuck. There are two T-connectors that none of my 1-3/8" tubes will fit in. So I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with them. And I have extra tubes...that's not a good sign. :black eye:

There are no good pictures, or instructions on the Parbuster site, and there is no one in the office there to help.

So hoping that someone has one of these cages and could take a few pics of the cage...specifically how the T-connectors are used and any other pics of it assembled.

Thanks in advance...I feel like a dad on Christmas eve trying to put together a bike and the instructions are in Chinese. :lol:

Mods...sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I know that mats and cages have been discussed here before.

Alright, I improvised on the cage and just let the top 3-way connectors "sit" on the vertical poles without the eye bolt connections in place. I guess the top isn't going to come off by itself, so noo big deal. Still stuck with two extra T-connectors and one 10' pole. Like doing a car repair and ending up with some spare stuff...not confidence inspiring.

The thing isn't exactly built like a brick s-house, but it looks like it will stay up and together. Now on to the net. Jeez, how difficult would it have been for the factory to label each connection like "Top Front Right" or something like that? Now I feel like a guy rigging a sailboat for the first time. In the wind.

Many thumbs down so far on Parbuster...some of the eye bolts are almost stripped and welds look like crap. Low quality on pretty basic stuff.

can you take some pics of the setup and the spare parts. the only thing i can think of for the T's is that they go in the middle somwhere up and down that needs a support brace, obviously they can go in corners or anything, maybe you need to replace that left over 10 ft piece with 2 or 3 - 5 foot pieces and use those T's to join them or something with an up down brace. it sucks that the think didnt come with proper instructions. its one thing when you try to put something together without using them, then go back to them when you have left over parts. but its another thing when something just doesnt come with instructions at all

Ive got one and it was a piece of cake to put together. Took less than 15 minutes. Pics would help.

OK...I retract much of my grumpiness from the previous post...90 degrees...putting this together by myself with no instructions...pieces not fitting...three sons waiting to hit balls!

OK, I'm done with this except for a few finishing things with the net (I forget how to tie a bowline...have to look it up) and I'm waiting for delivery of a Country Club Elite mat...right now I'm just using some little chipping mat.

Below is a link to the semi-finished product. It's located in a carport next to an extra garage we have, so totally out of the way. Previous owners of the house stored their boat there, with a covering, but we've used it for just a spot to put bikes, yard stuff etc. Looking forward to working on my swing with the FC100 and any gadget that I'm too self conscious about to bring to a range (Whippy Tempomaster-like stuff).

Included in the pics are the extra parts. None of the supplied tubes (1-3/8" galvanized steel) will fit in the T-connectors (they are about 1-1/4"). So I'm at a loss about what to do with it. The cage isn't going to fall down, but like I said it isn't built like Fort Knox either. Some pics I've seen have an extra tube running across the top.

Here is a pic of the "One Bay Golf Net & Frame" set-up from the Par-Buster website. Looks like the T pieces could be used at the top back section of the frame to hold the extra "baffle" net. Is this the model you bought?

I'm now guessing that they sent the wrong parts or something. None of the supplied galvanized tubes will fit in the T pieces.

You need to call them and see if indeed they sent the wrong model. It definitely looks like that's what they did.

Yup, left a voice mail this afternoon. Hard to imagine they screwed up...it's not like $600 golf cages are flying out the doors these days.

Resolution: Parbuster said they sent the wrong size T fittings and is sending replacements.

Are they doing anything else "special" to make up for the inconvenience? Maybe throw in one of their chipping mats? That would be nice...

No - at least nothing verbally offered. Will be an inconvenience since I'll have to take off the net to put the extra pieces in.

I bought a Country Club Elite mat (very nice by the way) and they tossed in a bunch of small goodies in the package.
