Titleist 907D2 Questions

You like it???

So I'm getting a 907D2... Wanted to hear thoughts, info, etc. on the club!

Also, they're (PGA Store) putting in a speeder 757 in it... I hit the older 983K with the speeder and loved it, but preferred the face and head of the 907D2. So they are exchanging shafts and it should be ready today or tomorrow.

Anybody have this combo?

Thoughts?

Honestly not my favorite head in the world buts its ok. Love the 757 though even if it is a bit old!

Why is that? Just curious...

I loved it at address when I hit it yesterday. The shaft is indeed older but it felt real nice in the 983K I hit, so I figured go with the newer head.

It looks ok. Doesnt feel very hot to me, its pretty high spinning and just nothing special. If i was to get a model from last year it would be the cobra pro D, that is LOOOOONG. I tried the 907, was ok, nothing wrong with it per say but i wouldnt buy one.

its okay. i switched to the G10 and haven't ho'd since.

I am one of the few who love the 907D2 but and it's a HUGE but, this head is touchy in that you need the right shaft. I have commented on this numerous times on how much I am truely dialed in with the Ozik Code 6. I do like the 909D3/X-cpn 6 combo too.

I agree with OrangeCrush, I loved the 907D2 but it took about 10 different shaft change outs to find the perfect combo for me because it is a high spin driver head. I found that the Aldila NV ProtoPype worked great for me in the 907 head. But saying that, the 909D2 is the best Titleist driver I have ever hit!
