Vr driver is on tour being played for 3 months now

Tigers is not a Vr but kims , duvals and Michele Wie's are for sure 400cc Vr drivers made to look like dymo prototypes. A friend has avoid friend who's inside Nike and the USGA will now test and approve drivers and not put them on the conforming list for OEM's to keep there secrets safe until releases. I also found out the putters early release will be very very small. Big places like TGW AND GOLFSMITH WILL RECIEVE A BIG FAT ZERO AMOUNT OF THEM. In my book I hate those places. My friend is getting a anser style from his pro shop and his place has the largest Nike account this side of chicago and maybe anywhere besides the big super power shops and they are getting 4 ! Not 4 of each kind but 4 alltogether and 3 are the anser/Newport style. Good news is he will have his October 15th if not sooner . September 13th go to your local shop where you have some pull and the shop is a reps #1 stop because the VR Driver demos and the putter demos are coming. The place where my friend and I go get a demo of everything way in advance to get there club hoes and players a chance to preorder. So on the 14th I will play a round with a Vr driver and the method putter and be able to tell everyone how it works out.

You need to tell your friend of a friend (of a...) to try again. The dymos played by the players you listed are just tour customized dymos. There's nothing vr about them.

I don't even want to touch the grammar.

But, reps will start slowly getting demos at the end of September and early November. After the sales meeting in the next few weeks. The driver on tour that these guys are hitting known as Dymo 380 was an early prototype to the VR driver. But, and this is a big but, the Dymo 380 and the VR driver are very different. The VR driver is extremely adjustable and slightly larger (400cc). The entire line of VR woods will be adjustable, similar to TMAG's FCT products.

And for the record, Michelle Wie has played about every Nike driver their is and last I remember she was playing the 5000. She tests drivers all the time.

My pro shop is getting a demo. Everything I am saying came direct from Nike staff. It is being played as a Nike prototype Dymo on tour in a 400 and 440cc . Most oc the ones that say prototype on them on tour are not dymo they are Vr. Say what you want but my friend was talking to his Nike guy and this is what he was told. My buddy will have his method around the second week of October . I am a little new here but when someone gets good reliable info from a Nike Staff guy that works at Nikes #1 green grass acount in the western USA and you say he's crazy . Maybe this site is not what i was told it was. I get a ton of info and am very connected at Titleist and know a few PGA tour players that are close personal friends snd they all said that this place was cool and Ryan is a good guy but half of you don't know crap and then tell me I am crazy. I don't have to drop names to be believed. I don't have to tell you anything and I am sure you don't could care less but I read posts about everyone wanting info on the Vr driver so I try to help out and you give me s***.

There are gonna be disbelievers where ever you go (or post) my friend. Just keep those of us interested updated with whatever information you get. No one has any reason to doubt you until you prove yourself unreliable; until then I'll keep reading! Now if you don't come through, that's a different story altogether! Thanks.

Yeah but to be fair to the naysayers, a poster that states his source is a friend of a friend, that his info is that current tour players are using disguised equipment and then throw in the poor english....... well it just comes across as a 13 year old wannabe posting a dream he had.

Maybe it is all legit, in which case we all owe the OP a big apology(but not with respect to the grammer) but it can only be regarded as vaporware until there is some kind of verification.

Sorry the USGA is NOT agreeing with anyone not to post samples that are being tested.. Ping tried for years to get this done with no luck.. The USGA isn't going to do this for one manufacturer and not others... Per USGA official I spoke to today (who I called after reading this pile of Barbara Streisand), so another urban legend goes poooooof.... What is posted means very little as many companies submit samples that never make it to production. What a picture on a site would do to sales is NOTHING as well as giving away any technology.

Nike could use all and any advance publicity to help sell their drivers----check with any large retailer as to who their volume sellers are (here is a tip----it AIN'T Nike)

The Dymo is just downright ugly imo, one of the reasons it just doesn't sell. I'd buy the 380cc head though...

dude... for what it is worth i actually believe you. for sure nike has had staffers test this driver. oem's badge their equipment all the time to "hide" new products from people like us... why let the competition know what they are going up against?

This definitely goes on. I can remember a few years back (around the time of the first R7 or even before I think) there were some photos of Justin Rose playing a prototype TM driver in a tourney. It was distinctive because it appeared to have some sort of a cavity in the sole near the heel. With hindsight, it looked exactly like the R9 sole.
