Who is still bagging Brigestone J 36 PC's

I snagged a set and they were so good they bumped my TM's out
Who are still gaming the soft forged feeling Bridgestone J 36 Pocket cavities.
I snagged a set with Projext X flitghted and they are so pure feeling ( just like Mizzy's forgings) and forgiving.
The irons come alive with the most popular better players shafts.

How many fellow WRX'rs are still in love with their set.

Prices are falling on these fine sticks.

I snagged a set new for $299 with PX 6.0, 1 inch over and have gamed them for about 3 weeks now. I was in Palm Desert the past week on vacation and played 8 rounds. Took both my PC and TM 09 Burners with KBS shafts for comparison. I shot better scores with my BSPC than Burners. No comparison in feel with BSPC getting the nod. Forgiveness a tad better on the Burners but he BSPC are plenty forgiving. I found distances comprable between the two. Bottom line, I think the BSPC are one of the best values in golf right now. I am a 10 HC who can bomb the ball off the tee but struggle with my short game and at times iron play.

I play a 3 through 6 J36 PC in combination with my 7 through PW J33 CB. Love the iron, hate the loss in distance with the PX shaft though. Reshafting the whole set to DG SL S300 this winter.

No, that´s not common. I don´t have any distance loss with the PX.

I picked up a set of the j36 cb's off of the bay. Couldn't resist them for the price ($247 to my door after $25 rewards points). They definately feel nice. I haven't noticed any distance loss with the PX 6.0 flighted shafts. Maybe it's just me, but the flighted 6.0's feel a lot softer than the straight 6.0's.

These haven't kicked the Exotic CNC Forged's out of the bag yet, but I've only played them for 36 holes. Nothing else they'll make a heck of a back up set.

I just picked a set up off ebay myself.. I got the j36CB in black and they should be here this week. Looking foreword to trying them out.. Got the flighted 6.0 also. Coming from PX 6.5 in my mizzys and just got some KZG evos with KBS shafts and I love the KBS shaft. If I do not like the flighted I will put KBS shafts into t he j36's also this winter. We do not have much of a season left here in IL.

Just got mine off Timtheputterman $350 delivered to the UK (£235)

Ordered them on a sunday night they arrived at my door on Friday morning, great service.

Have played once with them, they are 1 inch long and 2 degree up with project x 6.0 flighted.

Intial thoughts - They are great if you strike the ball slighty towards the toe, i have found them to be very forgiving with an excellent feel on well struck shots, couldn't be happier with them. I had a set of the j36 blades and found them too clicky, strangly the pc's feel much softer.

I have gained about 1/2 club in distance coming from macgregor pro cm's with project x 6.5 (non flighted)
I think the flighted x's play softer than their non flighted counterparts, especially in the long irons.

Great clubs, great price, great seller what more could you ask for !!!

I highly recommend this shaft combo with the J36 head. I need a longer set up due to being over 6' and the J36 is already heavy. Put in the SL's and it is perfect trajectory and ball flight. You will be amazed how much softer they feel and will add distance as well.

I love my Bridgestones. I was going to initially go with the Mizunos but then I tried these. These feel just as good and cost a lot less.

I especially love the 3 iron pocket cavity. You can really go after it without fear (and the topline is still pretty thin).

I am going to snag the 7 and 8 in a blade soon (when my game gets a little more consistent).

Further, I checked out the new J38s and they are not really perking my interest. The j36s have nothing to worry about in my bag.

I bought mine from someone here on this forum with Tour Concept shafts, almost new. Awesome. They've been in my bag almost a year now and I can't imagine replacing them.

I bought a set of the PCs with the Project X 6.0 in them, only took them out to the range once before deciding to sell them, wish i would not have been so hasty as I'm quite sure if re-shafted them I would love them based on all the good press they get on here. Still trying to decide whether to order another set of these or go with the Srixon 701s, everything I read about both of them is positive and the deals that can be had right now are unreal, glad to hear people are still in love with these, they certainly looked beautiful for the 24 hours I had them.

I also lost a half a club in distance with the PX flighted. Although the PX flighted did feel better than my DG S300.

I'm enjoying my j36 combo set so far. I find the cavity-back ones my favorite so far, best combination of feel + forgiveness. I'm coming from nike slingshot oss, and distance wise I don't think I've lost any. The only complaint I have is that these soft-forged irons do ding and scratch easily, especially on the sole. So as long as you can deal with cosmetic imperfection after a few rounds, these are great deals; otherwise, stick with cast irons.

That is exactly where I am at....I bought the PC's for next year and will play out the season with the GC's. Have ranged the PC's and they are a bit longer and much more accurate than the GC's.

As good a deal as my PC's were I bought my GC's new for about $175. I was surprised how good the GC's were though I did find many good reviews.

I was playing with a former PGA pro today and he told me he felt B'stone equipment was about the best gear out there. Thank God their marketing sucks. :man_in_love:

I couldnt be more impressed w. my PC's. I dont feel the need to try anything else. What is most impressive <and most important> is that I get a tight dispersion pattern....this combo of head and shaft makes for a very precise combo, and the ball feel is real sweet. I am more accurate w. these than the Daiwa Advisor DG273's they replace, they feel as good, and are far easier to flush hit....they go a little farther too and are very workable.....and lots more affordable than other 'comparables'..there really isnt a downside, and it really isnt possible to blame your club for a marginal shot w. these.
