3. Cameron 96 Newport, refinished by BOS in black satin finish
4. Cameron AOP Newport, refinished by BOS in satin oil can finish
5. Cameron TeI3 Newport, refinished by BOS in chocolate patina finish

LOL, I actually commeneted 3 times on PT.com about that OC Dh-89. Honestly those pics are what did it for me. I am finally going to get one.

I was talking w/ Dave about an order form last night. On the form i saw there is an oil can finish or a 3x oil can finish. Which one is this?

My oil can DH-89 has the regular oil can finish. The 3x oil can I believe is matte oil can on top (to reduce glare), regular oil can on face and sole.

I HAVE to ask - which brand do you like better? I love the look of both types of putters - esp the AOP Newport in OC. Nice collection you have going.

Stunning TeI3 Newport. How much did it cost combined with the refinish?

I picked up the putter for $150, the refinish including sight line addition through BOS cost me another $96. Basically a brand new TeI3 newport for under $250, not bad. I will say that when I got it, it was in great condition and didn't really need a refinish job.

As far as which brand I prefer, I would have to say the Byron Morgans. They feel better to me as the head weights are 350, (I had to add 20 grams of tungsten powder down the shafts of the camerons to get them up to that). The Morgans are a tremendous value for a fully customized flatstick, the craftsmanship is exceptional, as well as the service.

I think BOS does pretty much anything you send them.

I'm tempted to send them my Byron, I'll probably do it this off season and start off next season with a refinished gamer!

Tough call, but I would say the TeI3. It is the most unique finish I have seen in person on a putter. It has so many colors in it. I do believe that BOS does the finishes for Byron Morgan, don't quote me though. Maybe Z-Man or someone else can chime in.

I think they do too, but was not sure.

When you ordered your dh-89, what did the order form say, oc or 3x oc? I did not know there was 2 options.

What about the Tei3, did you just tell BOS you wanted a OC finish, or was there different options through them?

I know C&L goes through BOS (well I'm about 99% sure). I know they have a dark OC, and regular oc.

Great collection and some quality pics! Love the Dalehead Anser style focus/selection. Gun to your head, do you see yourself getting rid of any of them? Any future putters you foresee adding to your collection? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments! I will keep all of these because at some point prior to owning each one of these I had the exact same putter, sold it, and regreted it. As far as what I am looking to add, I think the new Bettinardi series looks awesome, I have been eyeing Long Neck TeI3 Newports on the bay, but haven't got one at my price point yet.
