according to the 2010 Bridgestone catalog I received in the mail this week-
"Extended Crown Profile from shallow face promotes low and deep CG for HIGH launch and LOW spin for longer carry and maximum distance"
Fujikura Motore F1 65 stock shaft , GP Tour velvet grip, 8.5*, 9.5* and 10.5*
Fairway wood look as nice as driver 15*, 18*, 21*
BOTH CLUBS ARE AVAILABLE IN RIGHT HAND ONLY

I wish they did make clubs for lefties. Bridgestone woods are SOLID. The definitely arent the most forgiving, sans the 460cc, but they perform very well.

PS: I have to agree though. B-Stone makes some of the most underated equipment, unless you go to Japan and it's probably the most played club. that or their sister clubs. totally solid but made for true player IMO. I love my j33b's breat set as well as the cb's. Endo forged what else could you ask for?

Maybe under the B'Stone name they will be worth less than $900 retail

The fitter suggested a J33 for me in July, but I was afraid to buy because it's not as forgiving as others and had a gut feeling a new (hopefully more forgiving w the same low spin) model was due out.

<Another lefty waiting to try Bridgestone stuff. Their clubs always look good but dang can we get a 1000 piece production of the black oxide 2-Pw combo set. That would be sick. Dont be scared to make wedges either.

Agree. if forgivness is better than J33, that is the right driver for me.
If the shaft is made for then might put some low spin/low launch shaft w/ high loft head.

I hit the driver and the new fairway wood very nice and they are the real fuji motore shaft in them very solid but does look alot like tourstage gear

Huh? You hit the new Bridgestone stuff like 6 months before the release to the general public and you do not know that Bridgestone and Tourstage are one and the same...??

I would like to see pics from address. I didn't really like the headshape of the 701G but preferred the 701 or 901 for that matter. Even the 701R looked nicer but I guess that's just me.....nevertheless, can't wait to see the bstone and try it....

Yes i hit it and i was just saying that it looks alot like the tourstage drivers not you typical bridgestone drivers i understand they are the same people but typically the bridgestone has a more traditional look at address this has more of a taylor made r7 limited or r9 look from the top

Agreed.

And, like tjsfagolfer62 mentioned, it seems more along the lines of the latest TM drivers with their pulled geometry. I would be much happier with this release if it followed the traditional "vein" of their previous offerings.
