My newest putter. Solid copper!

Mmmmm.... copper

I got this beauty yesterday from Mike. So far I have only putted with it on the carpet, and it feels great. The quality of the putter and craftsmanship are as good or better than any other brand on the market. I was fortunate enough to meet Mike in person since we both live in the Houston area, and he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet or work with. I got to see his other putters, and they look great as well. I'm sure this won't be my last Piretti.

Thanks Ryan! With those big ports milled out of the bottom, it weighs 360 grams. My gamer and back up putter are both the same weight, so it should fit into the rotation nicely.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't believe the lion was offered on the copper ones. Not sure why. Maybe Mike will chime in on that one.

That really is beautiful. Please forgive my ignorance, but does the softness of copper cause it to bend if you just give it a small accidental bump? Or is it really made from a copper alloy with a bit more rigidity than pure copper?

I just had my solid copper 006's face remilled to get out some old intials that it had. Kevin said the weight was 370G! After the milling and engraving it was at 360g, pretty psyched about that, it was the weight I was hoping for.

360G w/ the weight ports, that thing must of came off the mill at close to 400g? It leaves alot of options for people w/ that much weight.

You know if there is any plans for an Anser2 style?

Is there a swing of loyalty happening? I see all your Betti covers are up for sale.

I saw some of his anser2 style putters for sale on here a while back. They looked like a really nice version of the anser 2 style head.

I would assume it would bend very easily. I know the copper Byron putters do. I'm not going to take any chances with leaning on it.

Not sure what they started at, but I'm sure it was heavy. Mike took some of his Anser style putters and ground the bumpers to make them look like an Anser 2. The heads on those were 350 to start, and wound up at around 335g.

No lol. Just a little feeler sale. I'll probably wake up and pull them down tonight.

Sure. It is kind of between the size of a SquareBack and a normal Anser style head. Certainly more of a mallet than what I am used to, but not big enough for me to not care for the head shape. I'll snap a picture real quick.

Will, glad to see you still know a good putter when you see one. I've been happy with my flamed stainless Cottonwood as well. I'll post one of my address pics so you can see how it is bigger than a blade, but not really a mallet either. Good luck with yours!!

Doesn't this defeat the whole heel-toe weighted putter theory? Or is it just because it would be one heavy mother otherwise.

The putter would be super heavy without the pockets in it. It doesn't feel any less forgiving than any other Anser/Anser 2 head I own.

I forget to look at the ball all the time, so this won't hurt anymore than any other putter I own. :cheesy:

Thanks! I'm hoping Mike will come out with an Anser 2 style in the 350g plus range. If he does, it will definitely be my next Piretti.
