Custom Hand Made - and - SWEET

Well, in typical Golfwrx fashion, I saw a post by danatherock, followed by many responses from satisfied customers, so I had to get some for myself.

This lady is phenomenal. I emailed her on Sunday, in which she replied within an hour. We traded about four emails, with me telling her what I wanted and her giving me feedback. I send her the payment, of which is more than reasonable, especially compared to other hand made headcovers, and I received an email with these pictures telling me they are complete and in the mail. She is in CA so I should have them on Thursday. Outstanding service to say the least. I can't wait to see the quality. Everything I have read suggests the quality matches the service. This lady is going to get very busy I suspect.

Pretty cool I think. I bought a Driver and a 3 wood. I may have to replace my brand new Rocket hybrid too. I will definitely be ordering my next head covers from her in the future.

Just email her for a quote, it wouldn't hurt...most people dont like revealing what they paid for things

Those things look awesome. Can you just give a ballpark? I don't really feel like kicking the tires if they're more than i'd like to spend.

She has a bunch of different colors. Originally I asked for Yellow, but she said she only uses 100% wool and it only came in Gold instead of Yellow, which I was fine with.

Juju is an absolute pleasure to work with. After reading the other thread about her work, I shot her an email on a Friday evening about a set of 4 customer covers (Driver, 2 3 wood covers, and a 5 wood cover). She responded quickly and had the covers made and shipped by 12pm the next day!!!

I needed one additional cover, so mailed her on a Sunday morning. The cover was made by the afternoon!!!

Compared to Jan Craig covers (of which I have owned a few sets), they stack up very well. I think Jan Craig uses a slightly softer material, but the JJ covers are SOLID...they are knit very well and no holes open up when on the club or taking the cover on and off. Jan Craigs have a thin elastic band to keep the cover on the club - JJs do not. but JJ uses a longer sock so the cover are in absolutely no danger of falling off. The "easy on" feature is actually quite handy and it is definitely easier to get the cover on the club.

The biggest difference in 1 days vs 4 weeks to get the covers. You will be happy when you get either cover - both are great.

do a "control F" for a "$" in the other thread and you can get the prices. I think someone said $70ish for a driver and 3wood (don't quote me on that though)

Let's put it this way, she is cheaper than anything else that I looked at, which were Jan Craigs (much cheaper), Iliac, and Rocket. She is the cheapest that I found.

Btw, i got the almost the exact same covers as you did except my stripes will be all white, but the main color and pom is the same. your picture was actually the reference that i showed her.

that's exactly what i was thinking. you win the approval of golfwrx, and you can make some money. i was talking to scratch last week when ordering my wedges, and they were saying how golfwrx was making them a lot of money with orders from members

I believe it. This sight gets tons of traffic, and I wonder how large of a role it plays in the golf community at large. For instance, I wonder if all teh negative feedback about Michael Breed being too damn hyper was the root of all teh ribbing he got at the Bob Hope tourney? I watched the season premier of golf fix and he seemed to done it done a bit.


Anyways, these headcovers are sweet and I'd order a set if I hadnt just got 2 full sets of rocket tours for insanely cheap!

Customer service seems to be what turns people on this board on. I would not own two Scratch wedges if it weren't for this board. I told Ju Ju that thise place would make her busy. When I first saw the first post, I was looking at head covers but I hadn't bought any. I then bought some Rockets. Then the thread started growing and I saw more pictures and I wasn't all that crazy about my rocket's with the exception of the skinny stick. When I saw the service level everyone talked about, I knew the quality must be as good too. So I started emailing on a Sunday, and bam, she knocks them out and gets them in the mail the next day. I can't wait to see them tomorrow. I told her the Golfwrx people liked them, and when Golfwrx peeps like them, then she better get ready. LOL

No, but I liked Barry Sanders, does that count? Actually in the Bay Area, that's SF Giants devotion. I just got another bag so probably will go for another color combo just for kicks. Have fun with the covers.

It is unreal. I placed my order yesterday, Ju Ju said she has a couple orders to get to before mine...

Then I received her email 10 mins ago saying order completed! AMAZING!

These are going to be sick with my white TMX stand bag!

Dom, those are SWEET!. I just checked my tracking number and it appears mine will be here today. Order on Sunday and have delivery on Wednesday from CA to OH. Custom too, just as mentioned above. You order exactly what you want and BAM, she knocks them out. I'll post some pics when I get mine with my bag.

Actually Hstead, thank YOU for starting this thread and posting the pics! I just kind of took yours as the template, chose different colors, asked her to make them with 8" poms and lengthened the socks.

Mine should be here on Friday...She is AWESOME to deal with. I'd post the pic of mine, but I honestly have no idea how you guys are doing it. When I try to attach an image it asks for a link. Anyway, I got them in Black, white, and gray. STUNNING!!!
