Lamkin Perf Plus 3GEN & TP Mills VRAD

Both great grips--- Pics inside

Just wanted to get a few pics out there for anyone looking at the new Lamkin Performance Plus 3GEN white grips.

So far, I love these grips. A little beefier, heavier and firmer than the old Lamkin Crosslines but so far, so good. Biggest thing I noticed about these grips is that they are sooo classy looking. If you are looking for a nice white grip, don't hesitate on these.

Also pictured are my new TP Mills VRAD putter grips. Tough to see but the texture on these grips is actually little puttermen stamped on the grip. Good midsize grip and really sharp looking.

With all the snow around in the pics cant imagine they have been in and out of your bag a lot. But, have you noticed if they get dirty easily? You have any wraps under those?

I have the same grips and like them too. I have about ten rounds on mine and they look good. I may wipe them off today, but they really don't need it. They do not get as dirty as I thought they would. Good grip. I will be staying with them for a while for sure.

I've got the 3GEN NDURs and have found them to be really nice grips. I've used tour wrap full cords forever but I plan on sticking with the 3GENs. I haven't played in adverse weather yet but I imagine they'll hold their own.

love the look of the Lamkins but they are just a bit too heavy.......it hope they come out with a "lite" version

as far as i know there is a black version of these grips, called the "performance plus"

I agree, they are FIRM. Very firm, in fact. If you are used to the feel of the old standard rubber like the Golf Pride Velvet, then this Lamkin will feel very firm, almost plasticky. I just put them on my Driver, 3W and 5W, but I might take them off because they're a bit too tough for me. The weight is OK, but it makes the whole shaft feel more stout overall as well.
Sure they look great, but I don't know if they'll play OK for me. I'll try for a couple of rounds and see. I hit a couple of buckets with them today, and I had a hard time.

I only have 2 wraps on there and yes, with all this snow (more coming today/tonite uggh!) its been tough to really test them out. Few range sessions and just swinging at home but they are not dirty at all. If they do get dirty, pretty sure soap and water will clean them right up.

i did find them a bit heavy but they've seemed to help with some swingweight issues I was having with the heavy heads and light shafts of my irons.

im about to regrip all my wedges with these, felt them at golfgalaxy and very soft, something i would want when using my wedges

anyone compared these with tacki-mac? couldnt find them at golfsmith even though they sell it online

They're not soft once you get it on the shaft.

I just put a couple on my wedges. They are pretty soft compared to my TV cords. Almost feels like the tape is still wet when I grab them..very soft. Not too bad, they are very sticky as well.

The tacki-macks are much firmer/harder and tackier than the 3gens. I like both grips but ultimately decided to go with the 3gens this season over the itomics for the following reasons:

1. Feel was close to my old grip (tour velvet) with a bit more tack.
2. REALLY like the reduced taper on the 3gens.
3. The Itomics were too tacky. I play without a glove, and I think the itomics would chew my hands up too much.
