A pure stroke will make the ball roll true, and when colored like that, the two colored halves will look distinct and separate. A poor strike and the colored halves will wobble.

It's a plastic device with a golf ball-sized hole in its centre that is designed to be affixed to the face of the putter. A ball is then placed in the hole, and using an appropriate mark on the ball's cover, it's possible to then make a putting stroke and get instant visual feedback about how squarely the putterhead is travelling through 'impact' by observing the alignment mark upon the ball as it rotates.

Basically, it's a 'square stroke trainer.'

For all the branded dross that Cameron puts out, it's actually a very effective bit of kit.
