I too have found great success with these shafts! I have the alpha 70x in my driver and Beta 70x in my 3 wood. Love them! Couldn't be happier with the performance. They have helped my driving accuracy tremendously.

I have the RIP 70S in my Supertri and its by far the best shaft i have ever hit! very smooth and stable and i get a ton of roll out with this shaft.

Wasn't near as smooth IMO. I used the RIP for a bit and found it to lack feeling for me. Just got a Miyazaki 61 stiff and it's much more like a Blueboard than the RIP. This thing is SMOOTH.

People love the BB but I've always found it squirelly. I spray the damn thing all over the place. I've tried the MF and the standard 63gram BB, non-MF

The RIP is nowhere was smooth as a BB or anything from MR, but that doesn't make it a bad shaft, if it fits you. I love the RIP Alpha in my 3W and hybrid, even though I never had much luck with the RIP in a driver. I'm curious to try the Betas too, since many people seem to like them in their FWs.

What an interesting topic and very timely. Just picked up a SuperTri with a RIP 70 (stiff) and a 905R with a BB 73 (stiff).

RIP is definitely more "boardy" than a BB, but before someone reads too much into it...I actually found the RIP to have a lot of life to it. WIth the BB, I can feel it load and just release as I hit the ball. The RIP would load, but I didn't feel it release quite as much. Not a problem as it always consistent. I was honestly surprised by how the ball just launched off the face of the SuperTri. Nice mid trajectory with low spin. I couldn't complain with the results...it's a great shaft/head combo.
