G2 Shaft Change

I have a set of G2's with CS Light shafts with R flex. I want a shaft with stiff flex but want to keep the same D0 swing weight. I hit the ball very high currently. What are my options? This would be dont either myself or local shop, not sending them to ping for $32 per club to swap shafts. Would Project X 5.5's be an option?

The shafts i'm looking at are pulls with .355 taper tip and PW is 34.5.

Will these work in G2's?

How will they play compared to the CS Lite Regulars that are in there now?

I found a set of KBS Tours that were pulled from Ping Irons. Thus I know they will fit. The CS Lite is 94g and the KBS is 120. Current Swing Weight is DO.

How will the KBS effect the swing weight? The guy who has these says there is a 4g plug weight at the end of the shaft. If i get these should I leave it in or take it out to get closer to the DO as i play now?

If it were you PX 5.5 or KBS Tours in these G2 Heads?

I'm not set on any one shaft just need a stiff one vs Regular. My ball flight is very high even with 5 Iron and very very high with 9 iron.

I am thinking about something similar. I have G2 with uniflex and was thinking of going with PX 6.0. I can't get these irons out of my bag. I was at the range today and nothing seems to play so well (tried everything Ping G15, Callaway, Miz, Cobra). I would like to lower my ball flight. What was your experience? I am afraid of screwing up these irons.

i had g2 irons and wanted a shaft change but i found it made more sense to sell g2's and buy used irons with the shat i wanted. if you take in the cost to reshaft (about $125 - $150 i think) + price you can get for your irons ($150), you'd have enough to upgrade to a newer model and get the shaft you want.

if you want the feel of the cs lite... just going to stiff flex alone should bring your flight down some
