Draw/Hook with hybrids and 3W

why?!

I have been playing golf for 2 years and I am about to play the 3rd day of my club championship sunday. I cannot figure out why I am hooking the ball with only my fairway woods/hybrids. I feel like maybe I am too close to the ball and having to release early/flip to get at the ball.

If any of you can think of why I might be hitting the ball left with only these clubs please chime in.

Shot 78, 79 and in 5th place. Just want to make a better showing in my last round. This issue is killing me as its keeping me from going after par 5s in two because 'I dont want to be OB or in a bad position when i can just lay up and play for birdie.

what equipment do you have because some of those three woods, and even more hybrids have closed faces to help the slicers.

I couldnt ever hit my hybrids either... so I sold them haha

However, to hit my 3W off the turf, I just hit it exactly the same way as a driver off the tee.

Im using tm rescue tp all with fct and have them set to "neutral" which has a 1* flat lie.

If you are gaming a 460cc driver, which because of the size itself, takes a little more effort to actually square the face, this may be the issue. 3 woods and hybrids are significantly smaller and much easier to square. Over rotation of the forearms could occur unconciously. I know from experience and make a conscious effort to avoid over rotation with my 3 and hybrid. Just a thought. Even with some sub 460 drivers this could be the case as most are usually at least twice the size of a fairway wood.

Beeing on the mid 70's, i figure, that you come from the inside. If you then hit the ball right from behind the target line it will inevidently start hooking the ball.

My 10 cents is, that you'd conscentrate to hit the ball from 4 o'clock to 10 and not 3 to 9.
