I've played my home course for 37 years. Long Par 70 (no driveable par 4's) and my best-ball score would be a 43. I've eagled both par 5's, had one ace, and have eagled six of the par 4's (all hole-outs from the fairway, the first when I was about 10 years old and twice in a day a few years ago).

My worst-ball score would easily be over 200 as I've made double digits or worse on every hole. As an adult, other than tournaments those have become X's, though I did have a 19 on a par 3 during a tournament a couple of years ago (shanks). Felt bad about that 19 until I witnessed a 33 on the same hole at a recent tournament.

It's a complete guess, but I would estimate I've played around 2,000 rounds on that course. If that number is correct, it took me about 1,900 rounds before I got my first hole-in-one.

I have all of my stats in a database. I'm 21 under. 3 eagles, 2 on par 5's, 1 on the 2nd hole par 4. Birds everywhere else. No aces on the home course yet, although I've rattled one in and out of a hole on the fly before.

Unless I hole out from the fairway on the other two par 5s, I'll never eagle them. Way too long.

The course I grew up playing is short. Only about 6100 yards. I have holed out or driven and one-putted every Par 4 and made an ace on one of the Par 3's. Obviously eagled all of the par 5's.

-17 on the Par 36 front.
-15 on the Par 35 back.

-32 on Par 71 for a 39.

The course I grew up on was short (par 70) and offered many drivable par 4's. I probably logged a few thousand rounds over an 8 year period and I even managed to ace one of the par 3's during one of those rounds. Yet, my lifetime best-ball is a mere 26 under par 44. Putting me well behind many of you.
Apparently, I need to be more aggressive with my iron play. If I don't start holing more shots from the fairway, I'll never catch up!

Well in less than a year I have added 3 eagles two of the par 5's and a holed out 60* from 70 yards on a par 4, I also birdied both holes I previously had not birdied so my new best ball score is a 52

I've double eagled 3 of the 4 par 5s and eagled the other. Eagled 6 of the par 4s and birdied all the rest of the holes.

Played there for 20 years now with a low actual round of 62. Course is 6,600 yards with a rating of 72. Far from the toughest course out there.

Well I did finally get my ace last summer but it wasn't at my home club. No albatrosses at the home club yet either

UPDATE: I holed out a wedge for a 2 on our par 4 fourth hole. So now I am at a total of 6 under birdies = 48.

To the guy asking above, I play 70-100 rounds per year, with an index between 2 and 4.5. Our course is a bear at 74 / 145

None of our par 4's are driveable, except for the 11th ... but only if you are Gary Woodland long

In terms of all time worst score, that is a scary thought. I know I have at least a triple on every hole. Likely in the 140's.

I can remember way too many 7's or 8's or even a 9 in a big club event. A fast add up of the front nine gets me to 71

Old but very interesting thread dug up, I remembered reading this few years ago.

As a member of my current club since 1998, I've eagled every par 4's and 5's but still no luck on par 3's so far,(did have a 2nd ball ace for par). All-time ringer score of -32 under par, 40. From tips, 6850 yds long, 73.1/131. I usually hole out on par 4 hole about 2-4 times each year.

I'm sure few very good players has broken 40, I just need either an ace or a double eagle to achieve it. Gonna be tough

-26 on a par 70, so 44. Only two par fives, but have also eagled 4 of the par 4s (two are driveable), and last summer two of the par threes!

Fun question, the handicap service our course uses keeps a running record of "ringer score", but that only has three years of the twenty I've played at my course.

The "worst ball" is comical, had a 14, some 10s and some quads on some holes last year. Occasionally have some "tin cup" moments where OB is concerned.

I've been a member at my current club for 3 years and would be -24 45 on our par 69. To put that in perspctive there are six easily diveable par 4s which I have eagled at least once each, I have eagled the single par 5 and holed out for eagle on a long par 4. No aces and no birdies on the 2 toughest holes on the course. I play a very easy course. I am also 12 under on a 9 holer I was a member at for a few years.

20. Nine hole course par 36. Some of these scores are just insane. It is kind of a fun topic to think about. Takes me back to the times I holed out from the fairway or drove a green and made a putt.

I have never had an eagle (though I've had an eagle putt on the same par 4 twice) and I've birdied all but 4 of the 18 holes at my home course at least once. So, 14 under. For perspective, this is a 6500 yd par 72 from the tees I play, and I've never been lower than a 16 handicap, and I've never had a round lower than 84 there and I've never had more than 2 birdies in the same round there.

It's frustrating knowing that you CAN break 80 if you can just put a good round together for once, but just haven't been able to do it.

I've birdied every hole at some point with eagles on every par 5 (four par 5s), an ace on one par 3 (five par 3s), and eagles on three of the par 4s, so mine would be a 26-under par 45
