All time favorite golfball of all time?

I really liked the old Maxfli Blackmax's.

My favorites now are the Noodle Ice golf balls in the canteloupe-ish color. Seem hard to find though.

Oh yeah, I loved the Slazenger balatas, top 3 for sure. Their price was way too high though.

Spalding TOur Edition balls were the bomb when I was growing up. I was a huge Greg Norman fan and I loved those balls. It is funny that they were about 20 years ahead of their time as now most balls are made similar to them. Everybody said you needed the wound centers back then, but I guess it is funny to see how technology changes over the years.

I loved the A10, but I kept jacking them in the woods. I don't know what it was, but I could not keep this ball in play for more than a few holes.

For that matter, any Maxfli ball I stay clear of.

Along with Dunlop, they were both made by SRI Japan, TaylorMade bought Maxfli but today SRI is SRIXON/Cleveland as in "Play a better ball". Z-Star X and Z-Star are my favorites today. I was leaning more towards Hogan than Titleist years ago. Although I still think Maxfli was/is a goog ball, I can't find anything but the Noodle in my neck of the woods.
I understand that Dick's/GG have exclusive rights to Maxfli in the US and they have not partnered up with GolfTown.ca yet, if ever. Canada IS a small market on any world level.

Don't know that I'd call them favorites today but back in the day when I was in HS I used to play the Pinnacle Gold, Top Flite XL and Ram golf balls.

Top-Flite Strata TL-Tour

I think they started at $19.95 a dozen. Long, spin like crazy. I'm sure it was the Strata Tour Ace in Top-Flite clothing. They felt the same, acted the same, but the TL-Tour was half the money. After they were discontinued I got 8 dozen (at $9/dozen) and kept playing them for 3-4 years.

Ben Hogan Apex S 100. I loved these back in the 1980s. Wicked distance (even with laminated wood drivers).

Hogan Apex tour. Great ball. Not the most durable ball to ever be made but great feel.
