Which wedge shaft for me?

Rifle Spinners or Project X High Launch

I've been looking for new shafts for my 52* and my 58* wedges. I'm looking for more spin than my current setup. My 52* has the TT Sensicore Release shaft and my 58* has the FST 115 shaft. I've mostly just looked at the Rifle Spinners and the ProjectX HL, and right now Golfsmith has the ProjectX HL for $10, and the Spinners are $22. The next thing is I don't know which flex to go with since the swing speed numbers are based off of a 5-iron. My driver swing speed tops out at 105 and I hit my 58* about 100 yards. So my two questions are: Is the difference between the two shafts noticeable enough to pay twice as much for the Spinners? Which flex should I go with?

The Rifle spinner is more suited to wedges than the PX HL. The PX HL is more geared towards assisting iron launch rather than getting a controllable ball flight you are looking for with a wedge. Loft is your friend with a wedge and any shaft designed to give extra 'kick' can sometimes give a negative result with too much spin and balloooned shots that don't travel.
Of the two, the Rifle Spinner seems a better bet as it is optimized for wedges to give a softer feel and added spin on partial and touch shots - ideal for finesse shots but not necessarily the best for full shots. Based on your swing speed you should be looking for something in the 5.5 flex range for the Spinner.
Personally, the control, spin and feel of the Dynamic Gold is hard to beat for a wedge or any other iron come to think of it. It ain't the #1 shaft by accident, but opinions vary.

Those two shafts are very different. Your PX HL shaft is basically a double-softstepped PX. It is much better suited for use in a gap wedge than a 58. For trajectory, think dynamic gold flight with the apex lowered 20%. A more flat flight. I have played every wedge shaft. I like the PX HL shaft for irons, but had trouble with it in a high-lofted wedge with distance control on partial shots. The spinner is a, well, spinner. maybe good for the 58 but most players like the KB for the same purpose. Try the PX HL in the gap and KB in the 58...

Thanks for your input, and since I started looking I gotta admit that I had no idea there was such a vast difference in steel shafts. I never would have thought that a shaft can gain spin in the wedges, but apparently it can. I play the B330-S and I would like to get a little more spin out of them. Anyway, since I've posted this topic, I've found posts about the FST Hi-Rev, the KBS Hi-Rev, and posts about tip trimming to an 8 iron flex and then butt trimming the rest. I also learned that FST and KBS are the same company. So, I'm even more confused now about the best option lol.
