Very nice. I know I requested pictures in one thread. Thanks for taking time to snap a few. I see a few putters I could certainly give a run at the bag. Must be tough to pick which one to game.

Yes...the Odyssey #2, Bettinardi BB8 3 Slot and Whitlam have remained favorites, but I do have to give a nod of approval to the Cameron NP2's and Circa Bullet Bottom. The Cameron "Classic" NP2 has a wonderful soft feel to it...it makes you think it can't be SS (much like the Odyssey and Bettinardi). The "Timeless" NP2 has a bit more stiff/clicky feel to it, but the headshape and consistency is been good. The Circa Bullet Bottom has that nice soft carbon steel feel...and I don't know if it's the bullet bottom...but it just has something else to it as well. It's been a great putter as well.

The Whitlam isn't going anywhere. The Carbon version of the ETBW has an amazing feel...I actually had a buddy of mine shorten it by about .5" and it's just right again.

DASS rolls it wonderfully. It was the first "tour" putter I purchased. The lines are very hard and edgy and frames it very well behind the ball. The DASS and 3 slot brings a wonderful (and mysterious) soft, yet responsive feel. Something that feels like both Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel at the same time.

I didn't realize it I would be getting a hand-stamped version of the BB8 3 Slot when I purchased it from TKSputters, but apparently it's a bit more rare than the standard stamped version.

Bettinardi BB8 3 Slot remains the crowned jewel of the collection, but the Odyssey #2, Cameron NP2's and the Circa have all been pushing to get into the bag.

I'm partial to the Newport 2/BB-8 head shape. It just sets up well for my eye...also I prefer a site dot.

Josh - You've had some amazing putters in your rotation. But as a true putter ho, the grass is always greener on the other side, right? That's why I started keeping them...gives me a good option when one my putter temporarily loses it's magic.

 

The 009 is very nice, but I haven't yet got 100% comfortable with it. It's actually the 2nd one I've owned...I had a black oxide version originally, but it just didn't agree with me. I have a feeling this one will grow on me over time...it's already shown some potential.

Yeah, you've always been nice enough to share photos of your bag and expressed interest in seeing my putters. There are times when I do contemplate which putter to take. It's usually between 2 putters so I'll have a "putt-off" the morning of a round to see which one feels the best.

I am protective of the collection, but I would probably be happy to bring a few out to a local course for you to test drive. I think it'd be a long drive for you to get to my part of the country.

On the BB8 - Apparently when Todd at TKS putters sold me the putter, he said it was the first time that Bettinardi put the honeycombs on the bumpers and stamped DASS on the face. The other interesting part about this putter that I didn't know when I got it...most of the 3-Slot Tour DASS BB8's have the standard engraved markings on the sole (1-Piece Design, etc.). Mine is supposedly a "rare" BB8 3-slot that was hand stamped. Now, I just recently saw a newer BB8 Flow Neck with the same honeycomb milling on the bumpers. I told the current owner that I would love to add a flow neck BB8 to my collection...so far, he hasn't taken my offer.

On the Cameron NP2 - You are correct. I haven't seen the same type of stampings before. You always see different variations on the stampings out there, but I just never quite saw one like that. The fact that it had a sight dot helped seal the deal. It's a really nice putter...currently at 34"...I almost want to put in a .5" extension, but I just can't see changing it right now.

For some reason...I thought you did too. The CT Circa and 009 are great putters. I originally thought that the bullet sole was done for some type of purpose...more weight toward the perimeter of the putter, feel, etc...but found out that it was mainly done for weight purposes since the cavity isn't milled out on this Circa model. Either way, it's a great feeling putter.

Both are a nice change of pace with the NP2 or BB8 style head starts losing it's magic.

The bullet sole is so cool.. I love that putter. I agree with the change of pace comment.. except for me the Circa is a nice change of pace from my Newport/009 styles

I've got a new one coming, you might like it. I'll post pics when it gets here. Any others you're planning on adding?

Yep...I have a Byron 006 with a copper finish and sound slot and a Bettinardi DASS BEM flow neck (flamed finish). I have those pictures up in the WITB Contest thread....just haven't had the chance to update this thread. Anymore...the only putter I'm looking for is a Bettinardi BB8 Flow Neck...
