wow, just got the best deal ever!!!!!

i was at T.J. maxxx just standing there, when i noticed a pair of pretty good looking gray pants. i extend my arm over just to feel it when a TW logo caught my eye. It was from tiger wood's collection. i then quickly looked to see if they had me size. one left, the others were all 38-40s.

 

the retail price on it was $110,

but i got it at $30

Nike can't give away the TW Collection right now...they are trying to adjust their inventory levels by blowing it out through the discount shops.

Either that or its all their closeouts...TJ Maxx gets all kinds of closeouts from decent golf clothing brands.

I got some plaid ones the other day from TJ Maxx they also had some Adidas climacools but almost all were in big guy sizes. Never any love for the little guy.

I can never find pants in 28. Most mfgr's dont even make them so its hard to find anything sweet that fits right. dont they realize that not everyone who plays golf is overweight or huge? Isn't there some thought about an asian market or just smaller guys? its frustrating i will def say that.

My local Nike Outlet store is stuffed with TW collection gear on the clearance rack. shirts $25 pants $30. I just have my wife remove the badging.

i like the look of several of his line of shirts, but are they good to play golf in? they seem so hot and heavy. they seem like great "work" shirts with slacks or something but they don't look like the breath like other shirts...

newsflash...

not everyone who wears something over a size 28 waist is "overweight or huge".

28 is more "abnormal" than "average".

Huh? I have some of the '09 TW shirts and the only thing more breathable are probably the Climalite.

Ummmm...Nike's TW Line is made with a combination of cotton and polyester. So, anything 100% polyester will be more breathable than that. So, basically everything in the golf market would be more breathable.

Not trying to start anything, but seeing as you work in the textile industry you must realize not everyone uses polyester in their gear. The more "classic" companies, Polo, Peter Millar, Fairway and Greene, etc, all use cotton, if not exclusively cotton in their shirts.
