Northern Michigan Golf Trip

Me and my buddy are going on a golf trip up in Northern Michigan from July 19th-26th. I am 14 years old so I will get Junior rates. We will be staying and my Grandpa's house in Boyne. We are trying to decide what courses on which day to play.

 

The courses we are thinking of playing are:

Boyne;

Donald Ross Memorial

Heather

Moor

Arthur Hills???

 

Little Traverse Bay

Antrim Dells

Belverdere???

Dunmaglas?

 

Give me some of your opinions on what we should do for our schedule, aslo some opinions on the courses I've listed and any other courses you think we should play!

I really liked the Arthur Hills course at Boyne when I played it earlier this year. The Heather and Ross are nice, too, but I wouldn't pay their rack rates to play them. If you're getting a package rate or if the junior rates are significantly lower, it might be worth it.
If you can do it, play True North, which isn't nearby, outside of Harbor Springs. From what I've heard, it's the best course in the Harbor Springs area.

They are within 10 minutes of each other. Someone may be thinking of the Boyne Mountain courses (Alpine and Monument), as they are 45-50 minutes south of Boyne Highlands.

This is what I didn't want to hear. I am playing True North next week and was really looking forward to it. Hopefully the Hills course and Bay Harbor are in good shape.

Hills is in godd shape right now...hosting Michigan Mid Am on it tomorrow and friday..should be rolling well thru the week if we don't get too much rain.
The Ross (also being played for Mid Am) is in the best shape of all right now (at the Highlands)
haven't played Bay harbor in a couple weeks, but is usually just fine.
