Do you know of any shafts for a 3W & 5W?

i'm a junior and my 3 and 5 wood shafts are regular flex. Since I've gotten much better since I've gotten these, my swing speed has increased also. Do you know where you can get very cheap shafts for these? I saw some Aldila value series VX on golfsmith.com, but with those two being bought, plus having to pay a clubbuilder to put them on, my tab becomes a little large. Does anyone know of a store or person that sells shafts for really really cheap?

Aldila NV shafts are great and you can get the best deals at this ebay store:

bobbers. I really honestly don't have a budget in mind. I'm trying to get it done as cheaply as possible. I have a little money, but need to save a bit of it for playing maybe once or twice more this summer.

grafalloy prolite 35's are pretty cheap and pretty good. bunch of pros still use them in their fairways. not as easy to find, but they can generally be had for under 40 bucks no problem.

I got a couple Graman G85 shafts for my 3W and 5W and a G60 for my driver earlier this year. The G85's run ~$40-50. I finally made the switch from steel to graphite in my FW's and these shafts have been tremendous. The shafts are very stable and have given me the confidence to really go after my FW's.

I put a UST HMOI 75 shaft in a Cobra 3w and like it a lot. Hated the UST in a driver but awesome in a FW. The shafts were available for cheap on Ebay awhile back.

Ditto on that, I picked one of the Prolaunch Platinums at $25 for my TEE CB1 3wd and it completely improved the club in distance, launch, and dispersion. Not a ton of feel, but I like a more solid/stable type deal in fairway wood so it works for me.

I haven't personally tried one, but the Arthur Xtreme Engineering (AXE) shafts are supposed to be pretty solid for the price point. Spec wise, they hold their own up against some of the $300 shafts as well. I'm pretty sure this used to be the head R&D guy at Grafalloy, so it's at least worth checking out. I think the driver shafts are $50/ea while the fairway shafts are $35/ea. new.

Can anyone compare NV, NVS, and Prolaunch Platinum FW shafts, ie 75S? These are on the short list to replace my CB1 shafts. Typically hit low-ish FW shots and looking for more launch - thus leaning to NVS or Platinum...

What performance are you looking for in a shaft? If you go in a shop and are looking for the cheapest replacement you will probably get a shaft that does not perform any better than the stock regular shaft you have now. Demo if possible. Do you have a local shop with a launch monitor?
