Bettinardi BB1 refinishing.. "NOW WITH PICS"

Who you gonna call?

So I recently made a trade on this forum, a custom cameron for 2 BB1s. One of them is mint, the other is in dire need of a refinish. Who would you guys call for this job? I emailed Slighter about 4 days ago, and the website says to expect a quote for refinish in 24hrs, but I have not heard anything back from them yet.

With this being the case Im wanting to look elsewhere in the mean time. Where would you guys send a putter for a refinish? I more than likely will sell it after the refinish, but if its attractive enough, who knows.

You can send it to Bettinardi who can refinish to original look. Not sure their turnaround time. I've also used BOS and Kevin Colbert. Both have done a great job for me. If you look long enough, you'll find lovers and haters of all the different refinishing services. All depends on what you want done.

if you dont send it back to bettinardi definitely go to BOS. they do some of the best work out there with multiple finishes. their usual turn around time is around 2 weeks but the putter will come back looking brand new with no nicks dings or scratches. their work is top of the line

I can't recommend BOS personally, but if it was mine I would send it back to Bettinardi. Kevin Colbert also comes highly recommend.

Just posted a couple.. they are not the best pics, but they were all the member could offer me. I will get some high res pics Tuesday when I unwrap the packaging. I just want pleased with the feel of my Circa 62 #3, it was a sick looking stick, but not for me. I like the feel of my Method, and Bettis feel like the method, but alittle more clicky "which I like" Anyway, I figured one is like new not even a scratch and the other is in the quality shown.

I'd have to recommend giving very serious thought to sticking with Studio B on this one. Bettinardi's honeycomb faces are like jewelry and deserved to be maintained, if at all possible.
Sometimes the best place to go for a fresh new look is right back where it came from in the first place.

Im thinking the same thing but still want to hear options, I can always do a custom paintfill if they wont do it at the B.

I'd send her to Bettinardi for the refinish =) Their work is second to none! BOS is a good second choice too.

Bettinardi will charge you $165 plus shipping for the refinish. This is just my opinion but you might want to send that putter to LaMont or one of the other places members have suggested in this thread. If your looking to resell this putter after the refinish the $165 on top of whatever you have invested initially might put you in a bad position when you list the putter for sale.

This is why I like stainless putters. They dont need refinishing as often, and when they do, it is much cheaper.
