I've hit their clubs, my opinions are first hand. As far as having money, I'm not their accountant but I can only imagine if they had the money to compete in the US market they would have made an effort to do so. As far as playing game improvement drivers...funny almost all of PING's staffing pros play their game improvement models in the driver. I think there is one i15 in play. Same with TM...far, far more Superfasts than Superdeeps in play.

well i dont know exactly why he doesnt game it maybe its because he is a driver HO ,cause he games a callaway ft tour also.but i know its not because of the smooths quality,cause it is a good driver.but im done arguing about it i know W/S's stuff is really good,and i will just keep outdriving everyone i play with,using my smooth.

My thinking on the idea is they are like Mizuno, in the sense that they don't feel they need to go out and pay Joe PGA pro to play their stuff. They know they make a great product and people will play it on their own. If you think my point was to say they don't pay players to play their stuff to keep prices down you missed the boat. Mizuno does the same thing, they don't have a huge tour presence even though plenty of guy game their stuff. Mizuno knows they make a great product for golfers, but their mainstay is in baseball. Wilson Staff knows they make a great product, but their mainstay is in Tennis where they dominate.

Swing type and the individual determine what that person should play. I've played for 40 years and have played numerous brands, cast, cavity back forged and blades at different times...I'd probably still be playing blades if I got to play more than a couple times a month. At this point I'm filling my bag with Wilson Staff with the only exceptions being a Titleist 3 wood and an Odyssey putter. That said, I'm not crazy about my Smooth..Not as long as others I've used and I will shorten the shaft this winter. The lower profile face makes me pop up on occasion, but that's me. What I hit well is what I feel confident with. I used a Warrior Driver I put a 43 inch steel shaft into for years and won the local Remax LD qualifier with it because I could take confident swipes at the ball and know mishits wouldn't be too penal. If it'll put the ball in the fairway a long way away I don't care if say's Patty Berg on the crown, I'll hit it.

Some love the Smooth and it's a decent driver, but IN MY OPINION ([b]and for me only[/b]), their woods aren't quite up to the rest of their line yet. I'm anxious to see the DXi.
Now the FG Tour irons, I'd put those up against anything on the market...absolutely love them and I'm having the best summer in years with my iron game.
The TW9 wedges are good and I love the look of the FG Tour Wedge even more..
