Cleveland Ta1 FF.....I got lucky!

Well I cant post pics but I just picked up a set of Cleveland Tour Action FF's 2-9 heads. They look identical to the chrome ones pictured in the review section for irons(just Tour Action on the muscle and TA1FF on the hosel). I cant wait to get these shafted up tomorrow,they look so good. Has anybody in here hit a set of these? I have played with the original Ta1's and really liked them,I have high expectations for these.

These are fantastic irons. While I have hit the TA1 before, my experience was limited so i can't offer a great comparison. That said, I loved the ta1FF, I thought they were fantastic irons. They felt softer than other cleveland offerings I have hit, had a beautiful clean look at address and a nice thin sole which worked nicely with my swing. My set was satin and the appearance was amazing!

Just bought a set of TA1's. Haven't gotten them yet. This is my first taste of Cleveland irons. They looked great, so finally took the plunge.

Well I just got to hit mine yesterday and they feel great. They do have a softer feel than my previous sets of retail TA1's that I have had and they look great at address. I cant wait to get to the play a full round with them to see how they work. I would like to find the matching pw but for right now the RACMB pw I have will work.

Best irons cleveland has produced in many years. Wish I had kept mine. Mine came right from the tour even before they had decided to bring them to retail. At that time the only model they were going to market was the TA-3s and keep the 1s for the tour.

I little background for those who don't know, as it sounds as though some of you are confusing the TA1 which is of course "Form Forged" with the TA1FF. The TA1FF is a tour only prototype of the new CG1 heads. It is very different fron the original TA1. Great sticks though, and a great find. Enjoy!
