Mizuno MP67 ~ Performance???

I recently purchased a set of Mizuno MP67's with Project X 5.5 / S shafts. The clubs look great and I love the weight when swinging them. My problem is I've lost about 7-10 yards with each iron. I hit them high and straight as an arrow, which I like but normally I hit my 6 iron 170 yards, with these it's nearer 160. This isn't a real problem (just use an extra club) but now my 4 iron is only going around 185 and the gap between gap wedge and wedge has narrowed down. My question is Should I search for some irons with the same kind of feel and accuracy with a little more distance (maybe MP62's) or should I keep these and have them bent slightly stronger? Other questions I have are ~ Are the MP67's weaker lofts than most modern clubs? Maybe the PX shafts are producing too much spin for me, would the Flighted version be a better option? I was expecting to lower my ball flight with these moving from AP2's and Callaway X20 Tour's before hand, but if anything I hit these a little higher? Then again the worrying bit... Could these be fake irons??? They look and feel genuine enough (slight bag chatter, ferrules with gold serial's, Mizuno M21 grips) but they are off the bay. The only thing which worries me is it says 'Project X 5.5 / S' on the shafts, I've never seen them with the S for Stiff before.

Mizuno irons typically have more loft (weaker) than many other manufacturers' irons. The Callaway X20 6 iron is 30 degrees, the Mizuno MP 67 is 32 degrees. That would explain both why you hit it them higher and a little shorter.

My 67's have the serial etched in the hozel, not on the ferrule. My ferrules are solid black.

I have the 6.0's and I hit mine the same distance wise as I did with my previous set of Hogan Apex blades with Apex #4 shafts. My 8 is about 150-155, my 4 is 190-195.

I had a friend get a set of fakes off the bay earlier this year. They still played great but the PX shafts were fake. I dont know how to tell if the heads are fake.

My serials are on the hozel. Seems like my serial was on the ferrel on my T-Zoids. So it may just be when they were manufactured. The PW is at 48 degrees so they have weaker lofts. I would bend them stronger and see what happens. I haven't had anything but Mizuno's for a while so cannot comment on distance.
