Face anhles are all 2.0 to 3.5. I forget is that open or closed? If I recall open was always -2.0 etc eventhough it would make you think the - symbol means shut. Who can confirm?

+1 I asked in the main Bob Hope comments about this. If these have face angle, where does the FST and ASP come in. Is the neutral setting really neutral?

I don't know if I am missing something here but the actual measured lofts and the loft on the club are not even close in some cases. I was always told they have a tolerance of +/- 0.5 degrees. Please someone let me know if I am missing something. Looks like one of the drivers above was 12.3 and the head says 10.5. The tour players get to see this so no big deal, but what about retail? Thanks for the help.

remember it also depends on how open the face angle is for actual loft. the more open, less loft

those lofts could be adjusted for players maybe thats why they are so off from the stamped loft. I really dont think they would be that far off from the stamped loft. there tolerance has to be closer than that, thought it was + or - 1*

I also thought the lie angles on the R11 were to be flatter around 58. Can anyone elaborate on why these heads are so upright.

The loft are probably off because they opened and closed the face angles on some of them to measure the loft that way. highly doubt they are off that much at Nuetral. If they are TM has a big problem on their hands.

When those head are coming out of that drawer wouldn't those stickers be the raw loft/lie angle/weight? I can't see these heads being measured open and closed? I mean we see all these heads that are sold off the van to people like us and when you get them its just raw heads. Then you'll see the heads that have hot melt. I can't see these all being set up open and closed for players ans not one has HOT MELT. It seems like all heads get hot melt to get weight tweeked that last little bit. NO? Sure looks like a bunch of eye candy for a club ho.....

They sure are lite, maybe they will add 25 grams of Hot Melt...... just had to go there, couldn't help myself. By the way how you been Robo, long time no see?

Am i the only one who just sees driver heads that are labelled? The different numbers are just production tolerances and production specs, pure and simple. Golf equipment is geared for the masses i.e. people who need more loft and a closed face to help square up the 460cc head. It also explains how 2 similar people might experience a club very differently. There could be quite a difference from a 9 thats 9.3 and 2 closed and a 10.5 thats 12.3 and 3.5 closed. But again, the masses won't care too much. Would be cool to have the actual club spec numbers for precise retail fitting purposes but i have a feeling that might happen in the future.
