2:1 epoxy cartridge dispensing question

I have a 2:1 epoxy cartridge from golfworks. Golf store ordered me the wrong one becaues this one requires a 2:1 epoxy gun. My question is, can I dispense this stuff without a gun,(gun costs like 26 bucks) for instance push somthing through each side in equal amounts? and for the 2:1 cartridge, I just push the same amount out of each side right? heres what the cartridge looks like, same stuff.

I would buy the gun to be safe, especially if you plan on using these cartridges in the future. The gun I have uses interchangeable 1:1 and 2:1 parts. They make it so much easier to dispense the correct amount. You do need to push equally to make sure the correct amounts of the two parts are dispensed or your epoxy may be compromised... difficult to do without the gun.

Buy the gun, VERY small investment to the job right, and it makes things SO much easier.

i going to make my own gun out of a caulk gun. All I need is to squirt some onto a piece of paper and then use a screwdriver or some stick to apply it.

To the guy from Peoria. I play all the public courses alot, mostly newman tho. Played weaverridge a few times last season, and a few other courses in the area.

It's nice to know that it's been mixed in the correct proportions. Here's a reasonably priced one with all the various pushers. No need to pay a premium price for a "golf specific" one.

That's the one I have, and it works fine.

Grainger is where I end up buying the different 3M adhesives from too. It's been a convienient thing to have for more than just golf clubs.

yea I made my own gun out of a hanger and a caulk gun, worked great. Pushed both sides in exactly the same amount at the same time and was coming out in 2:1 portion.

btw, this epoxy is great. Its black and doesnt smell at all, I had used some lock tite epoxy before this and smelled sooo horrendous, like you could die from the smell.

Did they change the Golfworks epoxy formula ? I have the one in the picture, and it stinks to high hell! Gives me a massive headache

they must have cause it had like zero smell. Its the Tour Set Plus Epoxy
