place to buy golf clothes

anyone know a good place to buy some golf clothes, looking for a good deal but not kohl's type of clothing.

+1 for 6pm.com, also you could try clothing companies that are not golf specific such as J. Crew or something along those lines and get some good deals. I have found some good deals on clothing company's websites (polo.com etc.)

Tj maxx! I've gotten tons of adidas and under armour golf shirts and shorts there for like 20 bucks a piece.

+1 for TJ Maxx- I go there every other week and see what's new in stock- they always have TW polos for under 20 bucks and a the stocks Nike Dr-Fit polos, UA and Adidas, for under 15, another thin I like too is you could from non-golf specific brands like Pinguin which has some great polos in light material very cheap and look awesome- great deals and they seem to always have a steady supply of new inventory around me- I spend circa 100 a month and buy between 6-9 golf polos- closet is getting stuffed lol

I was just in Tj's yesterday with a buddy of mine who makes me sick every time he tees off in his T shirt and cargo's...Best place ever for inexpensive golf polos and shorts/pants. He scored several Greg Norman shirts for $15 a piece and some addida's polos for $20 a piece..for sure one of the best place's for cheap good golf set ups.

On that note... the Norman shirts blew me away they were very nice and use the same materials as some more expensive shirts... To bad I'm a Puma polo whore

Try Marshall's. Owned by the same company as TJ Maxx but typically has a nicer men's dept.

well i found a greg norman shark one, and I found one Nike tiger woods that was originally 90 bucks but it was very hideous looking.

Is there something in particular about the "Kohls type clothing" you find offensive? I personally think they have great clothing for great prices, but I'm not hung up on name brands either. I'll wear walmart clothes if and be perfectly happy with them.

If you want name brand clothing for an unbelievable price, I suggest hitting up a Salvation Army or Goodwill. I have plenty of Adidas and Nike shirts, as well as an authentic Augusta National Masters shirt that I picked up for $3.99 each.

nothing offensive about kohls type clothing but I bought an adidas golf shirt from them awhile back because I wanted to save money. This golf shirt I never wear because its not anywear near the quality of the 50 dollar adidas golf polos. I just think you get what you pay for, of course you can find the expensive ones at tj max ect but marked down instead of the cheaper quality ones sold at kohls

Izod outlet stores. Their XFG line is just awesome. Moisture-wicking and light.

Make sure to try on the shorts. Some of the Izod line is "stretch" clothing meaning a little elastic in the waistline and some isn't. I'm a size "smaller" in the stretch.

My TJ Maxx has a pretty good selection of Ralph Lauren Polo Golf shirts including RLX shirts in the $30-40 range. It's hit or miss-- you just have to keep looking, but the best time of year is early spring. They also are starting to carry Peter Millar and Ashworth but the selection is fairly limited.

I'll second this. I just bought 3 pairs of golf pants for $24 each - regular $72 each...and they fit great! Bought a couple really nice golf shirts too for under $20.

another PLUS for tjmaxx, and marshalls. 90% of my ashworth/norman are from there. i even found some bobby jones as well as polo(golf line/purple label) there as well. also check their accessories section for glove and umbrella

I buy almost all of my golf stuff at target where they have Champion dri fit made for golf stuff. Good shirts in a million different colors. Good pants and shorts. I also stop in at old navy every once in a while to see if they have their rec gear (or rectec, I forget). Ill only buy the old navy stuff if its on sale. I went in there once and got 2 shorts and 2 shirts for less than 40 bucks. They dont have any logos and look just like the expensive stuff. They wont last as long but I dog the crap out of my golf clothes and would get about 10 uses out of a shirt if it was made by the best or worst brand. Plus the cheaper your clothes the better you feel when you wipe some wet grass and mud onto your pants after a fat practice swing. Champion at target is better material and also very cheap when on sale. i posted a few weeks ago that golf shorts were 6.25 cents. They are great looking. I dont care about brand name stuff when playing golf. The only thing I will only buy from a known company are shoes.

I wear the hell out of "Grand Slam Golf" shirts from ROSS, which I believe are originally sold at Kohl's. Never have any issues with them. It seems that Marshall's tends to stock the 'name brand' stuff a little more regularly, and I've gotten some real nice Under Armour, New Balance, etc., gear in the past but they tend to be a few bucks more expensive. I'm a supreme cheapskate with stuff like this!

Try Ross. Similar to TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Ross is the only place I can find Nike Golf. Drifit polo's for around $17. They also have Adidas.

In my experience, I've found that different Ross/Marshalls have different inventory and it's largely based on the area in which the store is located. I definitely find nicer stuff in the Ross in the 'better' part of town than the Ross that is not.
