New Irons= First HOLE IN ONE!!!

I was playing some customer golf on Friday(on a pretty short course I rarely play), so I thought it would be a good opportunity to try out an new set of irons...TM MC 3-PW, PX 6.5 playing 1/2" long...

I was play fairly well and loving the new irons and along came the 17th hole...short par 3, 128yrds...it was fairly windy all day, so I was hitting alot of knock down shots into the pins...

The guys I was playing with had a range finder, but would stand about 5-6 yards back from the tee markers...and announce 134yrds, nobody was setting up for the shot, so I did and hit a little 3/4 PW....well it took one hop and DUNK into the hole...of course I started jumping up and down not believing what I just witnessed!!!

I have been playing about 11 years now and honestly used to think about holing out alot, but really not anymore, more just to get the right yardage and put a good swing on the ball....The funny thing is after this happened I really lost my composure for the last hole (in fact I'm grateful it was the 17th hole, instead of say the 13th...as I'm not sure what I would have scored then!

So hole 18, I hit driver into the bunker on the left, then hit 7i into another bunker(which ran the lenght of the hole, about 200yrds more), then hit another 7i about 80yrds into the same bunker and then hit PW about 30 yrds- which caught the front edge and rolled back into the bunker........then hit LW OVER the green into a Grass bunker!!! Geez!...and then hit LW onto the green and it ROLLED INTO THE CUP!!!

Not having to PUTT on 17th and 18th=priceless! LOL!....so after pulling a 7 on par 5, 18th...shot a 76...quite a day!
