WTS: Tour Issue Titleist 962B Irons Heads Only "T" Stamped!

Up for sale is a super rare set of Titleist 962B iron heads. This is a 3-PW set and has a custom paintfill in the triangle in the cavity. Loft and lie are standard. The faces have an interesting appearance and the grooves are in fantastic condition. There is very little bag chatter on them as well. No dings or gouges anywhere.

 

Hosel bore diameter on these irons is .370 parallel.

 

There is a "T" stamp on the hosel of the 7 iron and no serial on any of the clubs.

Questioning authenticity I take it. Whatever floats your boat. My source is reliable and has provided me with tons of other tour equipment. His brother is best friends with a Nationwide player. I came here to try and give you guys an opportunity and I'm getting bashed for it. If I was trying to get someone why would I come here? I'm cutting down on the eBay junk to try and sell some here to people I'm familiar with. Sucks pretty bad that it comes with trash talk....

I can vouch for davo, he obtained these from a gentleman who lives on Augusta National and gets tour equipment each year when the Masters comes to town. Question the authenticity all you want, in reality your just embarrassing yourselves...

 

I have seen these in person and the grooves are DEEP and clean. If I wasn't a Taylor Made man and could hit the sweet spot a little more often I would have taken them off his hands. Love the way the heads setup, small blade, thin topline, and minimum offset. Good luck selling these davo!

Ummm we happen to attend the same college, work together, and found the website like last month and love buying and selling here. Didn't really know that automatically made us into liars and scammers. Keep on embarrassing yourself if you must. You can use all the exclamation points you want, it doesn't really help in substantiating your inaccurate assumptions...

I am tempted to write something sarcastic, but all I can say is Titleist doesn't do T stamps like this and I would hate to see someone get had. People should know there stuff before buying or vouching for someone else.

As has been stated, Titleist doesn't "T" stamp their Tour goods. Anybody could "create" this set of "Tour" heads. Just take a Dremel to create the "Satin" finish (not a very good job I might add), add a "T" Stamp and some different paintfill, and viola you've suddenly got a "Tour" set of irons.

This happens all the time and most around here are pretty knowledgeable about Tour goods. It would take a lot more documentation than your offering (the Nationwide Player and your college bud) to get most around here to bite on these. Good luck with your sale.

First of all, it is highly unlikely a tour player would request .370 hosels on this type of iron set since that player has every available option in .355. Second, the tour 962bs had no 962B stamp on the flange. No serials are a sign of a tour set but what also hurts you is the fact that the heads have obviously been sanded to clean them up and the serials could have been erased then.
